It is easy to find, very close to Slunj, the Barac cave and the Plitvice Lakes, thus it is remote, very quiet, with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is very well equipped, the hot tub is great fun. The host was very nice, waiting for us when we arrived.

Our stay at the "Hedgehog Home" near Plitvice was an absolute delight! The place was so charming that even with the breathtaking beauty of Plitvice Lakes nearby, we found it hard to leave the comfort of this wonderful accommodation. The bedrooms were truly a highlight, offering stunning views that made waking up in the morning an absolute pleasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. The BBQ area was a great addition, allowing us to have some memorable outdoor cooking experiences. The property itself was super comfortable and beautifully designed, making it a joy to spend time in. One of the unique features of the "Hedgehog Home" was the availability of mountain bikes in four different sizes. We had a blast exploring the surroundings on these bikes, adding an extra level of excitement to our stay. Marinko, the host, was incredibly kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to him for making our stay so enjoyable. The presence of a few cute cats on the property and the sweet neighbor's dog, Lemmy, added a touch of warmth and coziness to the whole experience. We cannot recommend the "Hedgehog Home" enough to anyone planning a visit to Plitvice. It's a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. It is very big and convenient, very well equipped and every time you need something, the local "team" comes very fast to attend.
