Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

Very confy room with a great view, perfect if you plan to visit Hengifoss and/or the Vok baths. The kitchen was perfect and everything was extremely clean.

Lambhus Glacier View Cabins is situated 30 km west of Höfn and features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, cute house. it had everything we needed for one night stay. Beautiful horses looking through our window :)

On the eastern edge of Vatnajökull National Park in the Icelandic Highlands, this hostel has nature baths and a café on-site. Perfect place to sleep over and continue your road, room was clean, big enough for 5 people and ofcourse, pool was nice. Host is very welcoming and called if we want something to eat at evening. Good experience.
