Very nice cabins with amazing mountain views we really enjoyed our staying there.

Great communication when checking in and if we had any questions. The cabin was small but provided what we needed.

Dalahyttur is really "in the middle of nowhere", reached after 6 km via a gravel road. The area around the huts looks a bit unkempt, but the cabin was clean, even if very cramped. There is simply no room for suitcases, at least in the standard cabins - and we couldn't leave our suitcases in the car. In addition, the hot water is limited in its availability by a boiler, so that two people do not always manage with the quantity

An absolute dream of a cabin at the bottom of the mountain looking out to a sea in the distance. Giant windows offer you a panoramic view of this wild remote landscape, with ponies roaming near and seals a short drive away. We got caught in a snow storm which was a luxurious, very awesome way to experience nature’s fury in absolute comfort. I recommend this accommodation highly and will cherish our three days there in my memory forever. The hosts, Runa and Pol went above and beyond to make our stay just right. Thanks Runa and Pol ✌️

Lara was a great and friendly host. We drove straight from the airport late at night in adverse conditions and she stayed up for us! Upon arrival, the cabin was warm and cozy. The shower was hot and we had everything we needed there. Unfortunately we only stayed the night but can imagine it is lovely for more! Her lovely doggy also came to say good morning to us :)

This cabin was our favorite one during our trip to Iceland. We were still thinking about our stay in the cabin for several days later. The cabin was furnished in a very cozy and welcoming way. Everything was extremely clean and decorated with detail. The cabin is equipped with a homely couch and a chair perfectly to enjoy the great view on the countryside. Lastely, the host was also very welcoming and extremely helpful. I would definitely love to come back!

The apartment is very nice and clean and well appointed. The kitchen needs more lighting. The dishwasher needs to be secured to the cabinet. It tips forward when the door is opened. The large bed needs to be repaired so that the wooden slats do not fall out.

Very nice host! The cabins were simple but cozy and had a great ocean view. Breakfast was good as well.
