In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.

Casa del Montañista felt like a little piece of paradise just outside the hustle and bustle of Huaraz. Easy to get to and from the city with a 5 minute colectivo. The tandem hammocks in the garden were a perfect spot to relax and acclimatize for a few days. Eva and her son are such kind and gracious hosts. They prepared a delightful breakfast spread for us each morning. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the mountain views from our balcony. Staying here was an absolute highlight. There are also many trails to explore directly from the property. We would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome view to the Nevados huascaran, lots nature, they grow their own supplies for the restaurant all organic. The place has a really good vibe!

Everything! We absolutely loved to stay in this beautiful place, the views are stunning,the food is delicious, the staff are so kind and attentive, the tents are spaciois and have comfortable beds. You have free acces to tea and water throughout the day and the Domes offer additional beverages to buy once there. It is outside of the city Huaraz, but it makes sense to stay here as you have easy acces to so many unknown and beatiful lakes and walking routes. Staying here was an absolut highligt of our trip and we left wanting to stay there longer.

Casa Pukayaku Lodge ligger i Caraz och har bergsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en utomhuspool, en terrass och en gemensam lounge. We had the absolute BEST time at Casa Pukayaku. We had originally booked an airbnb in Huaraz on our way to Cordillera Blanca, but were unhappy the way it turned out. We widened our location search and found this gem of a BnB on a mountainside in Caraz. Bely and Jorje were incredibly wonderful hosts (and amazing at karaoke!). The food was excellent, the artisanal beer was delicious, and overall ambiance was a dream. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to hike the Cordillera Blanca mountains.

Hotellet ligger högt upp i Anderna, bara några minuter från flygplatsen... beautiful setting. staff friendly and very helpful. nothing was too much trouble. had a lovely stay.
