It was situated in a beautiful old peaceful small village, surrounded by nature. The house itself had all the the facilities. My mum and dad absolutely loved it and thought it was stunning (house, village and surroundings). They left us a bottle of wine and some delicious local products (meat, cheese, honey). It was a great experience.

Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinners and enjoy our coffee in the morning. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Playing pool at the end of the night was an added bonus. Host met us on our arrival to show us around the property. This is a perfect property for families to enjoy some time with each other in Portugal and get the true feeling of this country.

Monte Alecrim er en nyrenoveret chalet i Alandroal, hvor gæsterne kan nyde infinity-poolen, vandsportsfaciliteterne og haven. Denne chalet har aircondition og balkon. Lovely traditional cottage, 2 bedrooms, on the side of a hill, overlooking a valley just outside Alandroal. There was a small orange grove where we were encouraged to pick fresh oranges. We sat on the patio in the evening and watched "rush hour", the sheep being herded in from pasture. It is in marble country, and one can see marble slabs and overhead cranes to move the blocks on one of the hills, where marble is cut. (Take one of the Rota de Mármore tours. We found ours very interesting.) There was a grill, a traditional outside bread oven, a small fireplace, good WiFi, TV, comfortable living/dining room, washing machine, etc. It was wonderful.
