Situated in Funchal, 1.3 km from Almirante Reis Beach and 300 metres from the centre, Social Lodge - Happiness features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. Excellent stay!! Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

Madeira Sunset Cottage - Nature Retreat offers chalet accommodation with an outdoor heated swimming pool with water jets, a green garden, an organic orchard and barbecue facilities. a peaceful location. the cottage was very nice and had everything we needed. the breakfast was great and the view too. would definitely recommend this gorgeous place.

Located within the Sao Martinho district in Funchal, Social Lodge - Piornais has air conditioning, a terrace, and garden views. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a balcony. New, clean place with almost everything you need ! This place offers 2 beds + extra bed on a larger sofa. We were just one couple so we enjoyed the space and it was comfortable for us. Place is well equiped with all stuff you need for a comfortable stay. Beds and restroom/shower are downstars in an area which has just one tiny window so that might be a minus for some one. But on the other hand its a colder place during hot days ! Beds are great and comfortable as well as big variety of pillows. Bathroom is also new as well. The owner is VERY KIND and HELPFULL to requests, suggestions or any help and reply very fast. You can also find a lot of usefull tips in forms of links as a printed QR codes on the place ! Kitchen is well equiped for a basic cooking. Place is well situated in an area which is full of live. Big plus are the entry doors which are solid and can very effectively shield any sound from the street which makes it very quiet place ! You can find grocery supermarket just around the corner which has everything what you need for your comfortable stay and there are restaurants, coffee shops and bakerys just around the corner.

Cozy chalet with ocean view, a property with a garden, is situated in Seixal, 36 km from Girao Cape, 41 km from Santana's traditional houses, as well as 45 km from Marina do Funchal. I loved this cozy place! It was really nicely decorated and had everything we needed in a compact space which I found to be really cool - including a foldable crib for our little one!

Comprising a private beach area and a garden, Chalet Tropical is a recently renovated accommodation in Arco da Calheta situated close to Caminho Faja do Mar Beach. Me and my boyfriend spent a total of 6 days in the Tropical Chalet. We could have stayed there for at least another month. The place's absolutely lovely. Basically it's straight among banana trees and other beautiful tropical plants and flowers. There're very few other houses in the neighborhood and the closest main street's very quiet making the whole area very peaceful. The backyard has a great view over the ocean and the surrounding banana trees. Also, the hammock's a nice touch to the whole experience. The balcony on the first floor's anotheru lovely space and the house itself is functional though not particularly luxurious or equipped. The only thing tricky is maybe the fact that the street to get to the house's very steep and narrow (some taxis refuse to drive down there). The suggestion is to get a car or even better a motorbike. By foot it's nice to walk down to the beach or through the levadas that go along the coastline. Though mind that it's a very long and steep way to get to the nearest supermarket, bar or shop. This is another reason why having a car/motorbike is highly advisable. Overall, a very nice and recommended accommodation for ocean-loving couples/singles seeking a place to enjoy nature and tranquility.

A recently renovated chalet situated in Funchal, Casa ideal para famílias com vista mar desafogada features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!

Situated in São Vicente and only 1.2 km from Sao Vicente Beach, Pereira Place - Cottage features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. For us it was perfect- calm, quiet , peaceful and very well equipped. Parking right in front of the house. Great host! A lot of useful info about Madeira in the house. Good location for exploring the island. Nice garden terrace with great views - both of ocean and the mountains. It's quite near the city and there is also a snack bar few hundred meters nearby for quick bite or a drink.

Boasting sea views, Victoria Tiny Stone House provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 19 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools. Very friendly host and excellent place to stay. It has everything one could wish for, including a wine selection, a pool and a friendly cat.

Located just 40 km from Girao Cape, Victoria Ocean View Room provides accommodation in Ponta do Pargo with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The location was good if you're interested in staying on this part of the island. We stayed for 2 days which was a perfect amount of time. The house was great for the 2 of us. Of course we enjoyed the wine left. We walked a couple hundred feet to the local snack bar for beers. Staff there were great, walked the town to the lookout then drove a couple minutes for an amazing bbq dinner.
