From the reception staff, to all staff to the lodge. Very attentive touch that was. The beds were so comfortable! I would highly recommend staying before, during or after your safari or staying all together while you are in Arusha!

We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

Maasai Lodge Tanzania – Africa Amini Life se nachází na úpatí Kilimandžára a je obklopen přírodní rezervací o rozloze 200 hektarů. Chata má venkovní bazén a bio saunu. The location was surreal- scenic views of the surrounding savanna with acacia trees dotted all around and Mount Meru in the distance. Kilimanjaro was shy so we didn’t get to see that, but it was still awesome. The Staff were absolutely hospitable, always lending a helping hand. They were extra patient and friendly with our four year old who turned five there (we got a cake made and they sang in Swahili for him. Food was great as well. And learning about the Maasai way of living and community projects was the cherry on the top. The experience was just life-changing.

The rooms are clean and confortable, with a lush green window view. The staff are nice. Anitha changed a room for me, took my belongings there, and folded up my clothes while I was out. It makes me feel at home, and reminds me of my mother who often tidied up my room and folded up my clothes when i was a teenager. Appreciate it.
