Here at Mountain View Lodge & Cabins we take pride in our exceptionally clean, cute & cozy family owned and operated Lodge. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. The breakfast was good for eating on site or taking away. There were many places to eat it on location. The coffee was excellent. The owners were very friendly and sociable plus gave us good information about the region. The location was perfect and the view was so relaxing. We wished we had had more time to enjoy the outside amenities. We would love to go back and stay longer at this location.

Offering mountain views, Eagle’s Landing Lodge in Custer offers accommodation, a fitness centre, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. This was a great cozy property close to many attractions. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. We would recommend!

Historic Log Cabin #14 at Horse Creek Resort, a property with a terrace, is located in Rapid City, 24 km from Mount Rushmore, 33 km from Journey Museum, as well as 34 km from Black Hills National... Beautiful with everything we needed for our stay.

Located in Hill City in the South Dakota region and Mount Rushmore reachable within 17 km, Freedom Ridge Cabins provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, barbecue facilities and... These are very well build and designed cabins in the woods just outside of Hill City. Very peaceful place to stay that feels rustic and in nature in the middle of very busy and tourist Black Hills. We really love the Black Hills area and this helps us enjoy being there. Is relatively close to Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, ATV rentals, 1880 Train, riding some of the fantastic gravel Michelson bike trail, etc, which we did all of and more. A very good value if you have six or so people with you.

Located in Custer, Creekside Lodge at Custer State Park Resort offers accommodation with a balcony or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a shared lounge and a bar. Located within Custer State Park, it is right in the middle of all the things one can do in the park. It is far enough off of State Highway Alt16 that it offers a really peaceful setting. It is also right next door (5 min walk) to the State Game Lodge which has an excellent restaurant. It also has a very nice outdoor courtyard with tables and a great place to enjoy the animals that wonder up. We saw a small group of bighorn sheep.

Located in Keystone, 12 km from Mount Rushmore, Rockerville Lodge & Cabins offers free WiFi. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. We came from Germany and had a wonderful stay. The cabins are super cozy with a wonderful view. It’s clean and the owners are super friendly.

Featuring an indoor pool with a water slide, as well as a hot tub, Rapid City, AmericInn by Wyndham Rapid City offers free WiFi. A free breakfast is served each morning. This hotel seemed quite new. The rooms are large and modern and well appointed. The room was clean and had a large comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful and directed me to a Tyre outlet when we had a flat Tyre. There's a small pool with a water slide. We didn't use this but there seemed to be loads of kids in there having a great time. Breakfast was standard fair . Lots of restaurants within a few minutes drive (Olive Garden and a great Mexican). Also, it was very reasonably priced compared to some of the other hotels we stayed at on our road trip. Would highly recommend.

Offering access to ATV and snowmobile trails on site, Cole Cabins is 10 minutes’ drive from the city center of Deadwood. Free parking is provided and pets are welcome for no additional charge. Has to have been the nicest place we have stayed at so far when we travel to the Black Hills. Already planning next years trip and hoping the same cabin will be available. Felt like we were at home, Cabin was Clean, large in size and the perfect location right out side Deadwood.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Cabin 1. For freedom loving simple not picky people. Rental cars available. Is located in Custer. Plenty of room, quiet and comfortable to hang out in even when it rained for a couple of hours. T.V., fridge, stove, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, even some soups and snacks available. Perfect lodging when you’re looking to ride motorcycle on some of the country’s most beautiful roads. Custer provides many activities, sites to see, shopping and great selection of restaurants and bars. The bed was comfortable, A.C., and a fan. Slept great, but never made it to the top bunk.

Located in Sturgis, 22 km from Adams Museum, Eagles Landing Campground provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a children's playground. It was clean and quiet. I was happy to see that it is a family run business.
