The staff is super friendly, serious and helped us organizing a trip to the bay as well as the way back to Hanoi. The location is really nice, you're outside the city and into the jungle. Finnally, the food is really good and the bungalows are comfortable. I would truly recommend everyone to stay there!

Linda and the rest of the Homestay were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The area was beautiful and rooms were very clean, tidy and comfortable. Linda in particular was wonderful and so accomodating in helping us with finding transport and booking day trips for us. She is a spectacular host - she even bought a cake for our friend when we told her it was her birthday! I would highly recommend everyone to stay here!

The cabins are super cute and very comfortable. The family is friendly, helpful and the food is amazing! It's easy to get around with the scooter and the hosts can help you arrange tours.

Some delicious food especially the grilled chicken. It was very fragrant, very delicious. The host said it came from a mountain. We never forget that.

Offering mountain views, YEN Hidden Valley in Cat Ba offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. What an amazing place! We stayed 2 nights at YEN and loved every minute of it! It‘s beautifully located at Butterfly valley, a real oasis away from the hassle at Cat Ba Town. We stayed in a bungalow which was great - bed was very comfortable, there were big windows and the bathroom was new and clean and there was always warm water available :) A definite highlight is the pool - big and clean and very nice way to cool down! You can see that there has been put a lot of thought in the decor and style, it all fits (from small details like the breakfast bowl to the bungalows and pool area). Another highlight are the owners, a lovely couple with great smiles, very friendly and helpful (they organised the transport from Cat Ba town as well as our onwards travel for us). We would have stayed longer if we hadn‘t booked the next destination already and are hoping to come back one day!

Located in Cat Ba National Park, Viet Hai Lan Homestay provides accommodation with free Wifi, air conditioning and access to the garden. All rooms features garden and mountain views. Mr. Chilly and his staff were really helpfull. I wonder why there are no pictures of the rooms, because they are nice. We chose this instead of a cruise, and we didnt regred it one bit. We have three children, and instead of worrying about them on a ship, we took the oneday cruise that is offered at the frontdisk including kajak, swimming and visiting a fishfarm on the water. All in all we really can recommend this place for families as well as adults on their own.

Located a 15-minute drive from Cat Ba National Park, Cat Ba Eco Lodge Resort offers a peaceful getaway boasting natural surroundings. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the resort. The rooms, including the room service, was excellent. The staff is very professional.
