Everything was way too good to be true.
We loved our stay a lot and it was very neat and clean.
The complementary little breakfast and coffee was icing on the cake!
They're starting their in-house restaurant from next weekend which will be even better

Everything is alright, we loved it. Rain caused little bit of trouble otherwise its a decent place to hangout for a couple of days.
Breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay. The Grotto is a must; The cruise was cancelled because of inclement weather. Plan to revisit next year as I learned belatedly that the cruises tend to get canceled during the fall season.

The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The snorkelling was fantastic.
When you go to Flower Pot Island bring food, drinks and a bathing suit. The swimming is awesome!
The parking has to be booked in advance (which we did). You need to read the fine print though. You must be at the lot within the first two hours of your reservation or you forfeit your spot. If you need to cancel a reservation, it must be done two days in advance.

1. It is impossible to reach you by phone.
1. It is impossible to reach you by phone. I tried several times and left messages - no reply. The only people that answer are the ones attending the boat cruses. They transfer the phone to you without avail.
2. The building we stayed in made an annoying noise all night long. Was hard to sleep. We asked others and they experienced the same annoying noise,
3. The room had no AC. We kept the windows in the back and front open to get a draft. It finally cooled down at about 2AM.
4. You asked about breakfast in the survey we filled out. Were we entitled for that breakfast, and if where was it?

Small village on a lake. Not many shops and restaurants.
Small village on a lake. Not many shops and restaurants. Not much choice of food and if your hotel is not offering breakfast then you will need to find a suitable restaurant which opens in the morning becAuse not all places are open at 8am. Quiet and clean. Good for walks.

The panoramic scene of the sparkling blue waters stretching out into the horizon was simply breathtaking. The gentle waves crashing against the shore created a soothing symphony, inviting a sense of calm and tranquility.

Cute village. Wonderful place for divers.
Cute village. Wonderful place for divers.
Must go to flower pot island, the Groto and visit the lighthouse.
Beautiful clear blue waters. Lots of opportunities for hikes in the areas but must be prepared to wear proper shoes if going on the Bruce trail.
Cabin was cute and cozy, loved that it has a/c to get out of the heat and running water to clean up every night before bed! Quick easy 9 minutes to the town of tobermory for a lot of cool adventures and attractions also. Wasn’t to busy couple other people stayed in other cabins while we were there and I feel like the cabins are nicely spaced out and you don’t hear much of others from other cabins. I love that each and every cabin has its own hidden fire pit and own yard to play games in.
We love to stay at family run motels and try to keep away from the “chains” whenever possible. The Grandview was a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and within a short walk of all restaurants and shops. It was also close to the ferry terminal for our morning trip across the Georgian Bay. The walking pathway to town had benches along the way to rest, if necessary, and we watched a lovely sunset from one of them.
It was great accomodation for the price of the stay. The hotel wasnt too far from the main area of Tobermory, only a 5 minute walk will get you there and do not have to contend with parking.
The room exceeded my expectations. The free wifi was more than fast enough to keep my daughter entertained when we are in the room. The bed was comfortable and clean.
Reception was helpful. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds, spacious room and good facilities. It was good to have a microwave and refrigerator and a table to sit at for breakfast. Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, there are good facilities in the room to enable you to fix your own.
Based on the other ratings i read I wasn't expecting much so expectations were definitely exceeded. There was a really large balcony over looking the lake where we watched the sun set. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a typical hotel clean and functional.
The breakfast location, the staff recommended was not in question. The food was great to start for the day. The hotel location was very great during the night because it's in front the water even though it still cold during our stay but I love it.
As hikers, the location is right for us. Within walking distance to the Bruce Park Visitors Centre/trails and Tobermory’s central. The rooms are not large but clean and comfortable and pricing is as expected for a seasonal tourist location.
Location of the cottage is very awesome. close to all attractions of Tobermory. The house was super clean and host is very active and response right away. Will definitely come again to this cottage. Will recommend to my friends and family
The location is good, close to Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula Provincial Park.
There's also a kitchenette with mugs and plates, toaster and kettle, etc. If the things were clean, that'd be convinient and useful.
Location was scenic and near Tobermory which made it very convenient. Check in and check out was very easy. Good communication with host. Very quiet. Comfy armchairs and had all facilities that we needed.
The location is wonderful. The front desk is super friendly and patiently answered all my questions. Highly recommended if you are taking the ferry the next morning or just visiting the town of Tobermory.
We liked the facilities and cozy rooms. It literally felt comfortable. It was budget friendly and enjoyable stay. We would recommend this hotel to all my friends who are planning their trip
