It is very close to the airport with wonderful down pillows and comforters, rooms are well appointed and clean. I did not give it a 10 because as you drive up its not the best curb appeal there are worn down looking apartments next door and the outside is not very welcoming. When you park there is a digital check in that we messed with for about 10 minutes to no avail. We pushed the help button and were told to come upstairs and check in. It was quite confusing even with Google translate. Once inside it is a lovely hotel with nice decor and comfy rooms after a red eye from California we slept very well.
The breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices. We discovered if you walk a couple blocks you are in a very nice area where we had a wonderful dinner.

I read other reviews. Some people are saying they had to pay for the shuttle bus. I had a rented car which I returned to the airport the evening before I left Zurich. I was able to take the shuttle back to the hotel for free. I had an appointment to return to the airport in the morning for my flight, owhich was also free and easy. Rumlang is reasonably close to both, the airport and the Hauptbahnhof - the main railway station. It scores on this the most. However, it does not have many eating-out spots, and it is best advised to go to the main railway station and then eat out there.

A tidy town that has nothing open after lunch on Saturday until Monday. And, that’s right, we were there on Sunday. We therefore enjoyed MacDonalds and Subway. Very disappointed that there was nothing Swiss to have.

Convenient to the airport and 2 good italian restaurants within walking distance of the hotels prior to departure or evening meal. Also has Maccas and a few other fast food outlets close by plus Aldi for a few departure beers, chips, nuts and purchase of forgotten travel items. Most hotels are Very close to the station of Rumlang for trips to the city of Zurich and great place to be for catching a train to Zurich Hauptbahnhof for connections to the train network of Switzerland .

The sound insulation was very good, I could see the airplanes at Zürich airport, but didn't hear them and slept very well. I had a room on the airport side and thus was overlooking the green belt and the Glatt river which was very nice, with the airport as a backdrop. This time, I do not have to give a bad review of the staff, because none of those people were present. We used the public bus and not the shuttle offered by them. The ticket costs around 8 euro/person and is valid for 24 hours.
