The hotel is very quiet and it is good to spend time there. Good territory, great beach both with riffs and sand so you can swim at any weather. Great stuff, great view, clean room. We enjoyed tasty food at Italian restaurant. We booked this hotel last year and selected the same one this year.

- Very nice private sandy beach right next to the reef, 2 diving schools within walking distance
- Plenty of food offered, including a lot of veggies. The meal time windows are relatively flexible
- Resort looks a bit outdated, but it’s overall clean and comfortable
- Most of the staffs are friendly and helpful, and nobody actively fishes for tips which is nice for Egypt

This resort is wonderful. We had one of the best hotel experiences of our lives. Everything is brand new. The room was beautiful, offering privileged views of the sea that you can enjoy from the very cozy balcony. The bed was very large and comfortable. In the restaurant, besides serving breakfast in the morning, you can also have lunch and dinner. The waiter who attended to us every day was very cordial and attentive. The pools are huge, with water slides that I recommend trying! The beach area (such a beautiful sea) has hammocks with umbrellas, as well as a meeting area with a shop and chairs where you can see the best sunsets. The reception staff made our experience incredible, with lots of details that never ceased to amaze us and that we gladly accepted. They took great care to make our stay spectacular.

The day trips were amazing.
The day trips were amazing. Swimming with the dolphins and the sea turtles was phenomenal. The water was crystal clear. It's a great place for diving and snorkeling. It is not so good for people who are active at night because there's isn't much outside of the resort.

Lovely area of the country.
Lovely area of the country. As an American traveling in Egypt I felt very safe. The military has a lot of bases on the coast as it is an international border so safety is not an issue there. We stayed at our resort. There is not a "town" around there, so the resorts are all-inclusive. It is easy to book an excursion on camel or four-wheeler into the desert if you get restless staying put.

you can use abou dabab as an off shut to see other destinations driving distance from it. The beach there is one of the few that has proper sand and coral mixes so it's great for both snorkeling and divers and people who just want to chill.

It's the worst!
It's the worst! Diving gear got stolen and they kept lying to avoid even looking for it. The children got chemical rashes from the pool. The receptionist was extremely rude both at check in and check out. Oh and the Abu dabbab bay/beach is certainly overrated. No dugong, one giant turtle if you're lucky, and a whole lot of intrusion from the guys trying to sell you trips.
very good all inclusive resort- as you would expect it from a Hilton. The house reef is amazing and we appreciate that they hotel tries to help to preserve it by not allowing to enter the sea directly. the private beach area is very nice and clean, service in the whole resort very friendly. big variety of food and drinks as it is an all inclusive resort in the middle of the desert. Best food experience was fresh fish (for a reasonable extra money) in the seafood restaurant, which was really excellent.
A stunning clean room, everything is a few steps from your room, a variety of delicious food, amazing beach and the most special thing about this hotel is their staff they are very nice and looking for your comfort and make your stay remarkable every moment.specially a creative and very nice animation team , highly quality hotel chefs, everyone from the hotel crew was nice, approachable and.very helpful and a special thanks to MR.Mahmoud from reservations and MR.Ahmed Marakby at the reception desk.
The only positive thing about this hotel is its location: the Red Sea is amazing. There is a wonderful house reef teeming with life (although big stuff sightings are rare, it's mostly usual small fishes), and - what makes this place stand out - an unusually large litoral lagoon, mostly very shallow and overgrown with seagrass, with some unique wildlife including morays, stingrays, and plenty of nudi branches (usually seen in the morning or late afternoon). Even an eagle ray was spotted there!
This resort is the perfect place to be if you like rest and snorkeling!
The facilities are really nice and the staff is very very nice!
Of course it’s the place to be if you like snorkeling! Just a few hundred meters from the resort you’ll see some amazing corals and maybe, if you’re adventurous and lucky, some turtles!!
I made a suprise for my boyfriend so I asked the hotel to have some romantic decorations and dinner and it was perfect!!!! it was more than I asked !
Id like the view , liked that the hotel upgraded my room to the room that i had honey moon in 2 years ago , marvelous beach view room.
Id like to thank the reception both Mr saad and beshoy as they made an early check in for the room and late check out for me appreciate it .
The staff in the restaurant was got nice hospitality skills specially in the italian restaurant the waiter delivered to me bills to my wife as she was sick.
Everything at this hotel is more then perfect specially the staff all of them are amazing , very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I want to thank each one of them . I wouldn’t except such professional people from reception, housekeepers, chefs, bar men and Ms Cindy who welcomed us and keen to know our feedback. Highly recommended.Special thanks for the amazing animations team who made our stay fun and enjoyable
Big, comfortable and nice family room with sea view
The quality and variety of food was quite good (7 days stay)
The overall site was well-managed and clean
Nice pool
Nice garden and the way everything looks from outside
Good diving school
Good safety for snorkelling with a guard
Very nice snorkelling straight from the hotel
Royal Brayka is a great Hotel due to the Location and Bay, usually we stay at Brayka Bay but die a lack of availability we chose to stay at Royal in a Beach Front Room 1005 in Building 1. The fridge door was loose and continually dripped water on the floor an the bathroom is very dated but the rest was fine.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good -and lot of option also for vegetarians. I booked three different kind of rooms. Standard, deluxe and superior. The best was the superior room with seaview and sunrise. The room and also the hotel area are very clean. I extend twice my stay.
everything was great! great value for the price. the people working there are just amazing, super nice and attentious! the hotel is not new but very well kept, you won’t regret staying here for sure. the food is so good. the beach is the best one in Marsa alam and you can see turtles every day.
the staff was excellent
christene the guest relation wqs really helpful and also walid the receptionist and all the staff was really super helpful and amazing
the location was perfect as dabbab beache was fantastic and I had the chance to watch the turtles and the sea cow
Very nice and quiet hotel. Food very tasty, location good. I know a lot of hotels in Egypt and Happy life belong between top. Thank you so much all staff of hotel. Well good work.
Nice hotel with friendly staff and the reef infront of the hotel. Easy to go to snorkel or to dive from the coast. Even though the hotel was full it didn't felt too growded.
Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. Hotel is a little tired, and could do with a revamp. I love that it's low-rise design. Short walk to the beach - beautiful beach!
