Very lively, very touristy along beach area, more friendly in the old town area where you can have a meal without pointing to a printed picture! The stay at La Torre in Cambrils was super. Its not big but all the facilities you need were there. Great view and nice place to eat for luch and diner. Supermarkets in the surrounding etc. We would love to go again.

This is a place for those who want the sun, sand and the ocean. Nice walks along the promenade beside the marina and beyond. Prices in restaurants and for boat rides are very high. Architecturally, the 'old' town hasn't much to offer of interest and it's impossible to get a taxi from there. Been to Cambrils many times, I have family there. You’ll need a bit more than basic Spanish. Shops , bars and restaurants are plenty and prepare to queue, locals know what they want! Don’t take gbp , no where to change them , use your cards , you’ll get the option to pay in either currency.LisaUnited Kingdom

For the price - I would have been happy for less - the room was a good size, the linens were clean, and everything worked. The staff however were exceptional. I think it is a family run place and it isn't the MOST professional ALL the time - but it is very friendly and fun. There is a VERY nice restaurant on the ground floor. We like it a lot as it's just in from of the beach and the sea and early in the morning you can enjoy the sunrise from the balcony and have a walk around. Cambrils is a nice small town for a weekend stay off-season. Positives: - Location - 10/10 - Good breakfast though it differs (see further comments) - Parking is in front of hotel (public one) and you don't pay much during the weekend - Comfy beds - Balcony with the sea view :)JuliaSpain

The complex itself was immaculate and is a hidden gem in cambrills the value was outstanding the best accomodation we have stayed at in spain for ten years would definitely go back.
