We had a 2 bedroom room which had lots of space for us and our 2 children. It was clean and the directions to find it/access to free parking was great. Close the town - all the shops and restaurants.

Cudillero was very pleasant and great views from the top overlooking the town especially at night
Best local beach is playa de Aguilar, beautiful.
We stayed in el pito which was peaceful and very pleasant place about 30 mins walk outside Cudillero
Only one bar/restaurant there but but very good traditional local, very enjoyable.

We loved Cudillero.
We loved Cudillero. We only had 3 nights but that was not enough. We could easily have stayed for a week as there was so much to do. We explored the village by foot, we ate in many of the wonderful seafood restaurants (Recommend El Remo and Isabel), we bought groceries and shopped and we drove to several nearby Sandy beaches. We went for a drive to the valley of the bears which was very picturesque. However there are also many lovely cities close by that we ran out of time to visit like Oviedo. There was also a rail trail in the Valley of the bears that we would like to come back and do as it looked like a stunning ride.

54 steps from street level to 2nd floor room.
54 steps from street level to 2nd floor room. I am 84 and my wife is 76; she has a mobility problem. No mention was made of the steep climb. I should have asked, maybe, but we do not normally have problems with a reasonable number of stairs.
Car parking. A public park 12 minutes walk away is unacceptable.
The bathroom was very small.
The curtains were could not beheld back because of the 45° slope. So the windows couldn’t be opened. It was over 30° when were there. The curtains had to be close at night as there was a huge public street lamp right outside the bedroom. It was on all night. There was also a public path right outside the bedroom.

Cudillero is a delightful little town with a gorgeous fishing harbor, tourists on summer weekends, a couple of pleasant walks (one with an amazing view of the harbor and the ocean), a few restaurants, and a very pretty 2-star hotel named La Casona de Pio. We enjoyed fresh fish at the Casa de Julio. We also had an excellent lunch at El Cafe del Faro, right next to our hotel.

I was there for 2 days. Way too long. Half a day would do it.
Food is very expensive in the restaurants. The idea being that seafood direct from the Cantabrian sea is expensive, but I'd have thought the lack of transport costs would make it cheaper than in Madrid, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

A lovely little fishing port.
A lovely little fishing port. Plenty of restaurants serving local food, which were still open in October when we went.
Lovely for a walking holiday (as long as you have strong legs as it's all steep hills!).
This quaint boutique hotel oozes charm and character. Although old, the rooms have been nicely updated and were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the property has several sitting areas to enjoy reading, chatting or getting to know other guests. The staff was especially helpful and friendly, especially Rachel. The town itself is also a treasure. We enjoyed just wandering around and taking the steps up and down to different levels of the town.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of town. The location is great for exploring and quick access to all the local shops. The hotel was clean and the staff were so friendly. We left our charger in the room and the staff contacted shop owners around town to notify us! This was an incredible act of kindness and demonstrates how the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.
Excellent cozy room that was very clean and had a comfortable bed! Not much around but it is a great place on the Camino! Highly recommend this spot as a great place to be break up a long day. But know that it is remote and I would recommend the restaurant that is about 150 meters away opposed to the one further who really take advantage of guest. Hotel is awesome!
We'd booked a place in Cudillero, which was awful, so we found this place online and moved up the road. A stunning hotel, beautiful grounds, friendly helpful staff, and a restaurant just down the road which more than made up for the over expensive and not very good food in the Port.
Breakfast was extra, but very nice indeed!
We will definitely stay there again!
The fisherman’s cottage was an over and cozy place to stay in Cudillero. It was cozy and the view from the apartment was so picturesque. Manuela our host made every effort to make our stay so enjoyable, The bed was the best we had stayed in so far. The fact that there three flights in the building did not bother us in the least and we are seniors.
Casa Prendes benefits from a „downtown“ location in Cudillero, meaning no steep walk, no stairs, to reach your hotel. The room was small but clean, the beds comfortable. Breakfast is „à la carte“, means you order only what you want to eat and pay a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and caring, we could have the room before noon.
I Loved everything about this place, comfortable rooms, the reception lady was amazing and super friendly, location is just fantastic, the hotel is small but beautiful and has everything you need, just 5 min away walking you have a huge parking lot if you are driving.
My family and I had the best experience ever.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
What a hidden gem! This is one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed at, and probably the least expensive. Huge room, very comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast for 10€ was excellent. Wonderful and helpful staff. A few miles down the road is the very picturesque village of Cudillero. Fun place to visit. We can’t wait to return.
Unbeatable location in Cudillero with an increadible view of the town.
Very beautiful apartment that keeps its own traditional character and brings you the athmosphere of the fishermen town with a very good taste.
The host cannot be more helpful and gives really good local tips for sight seeing and restaurants in the area.
This is a hidden gem. Every detail is perfect, great location (it is an uphill walk to. Get to but totally worth it) drop dead gorgeous view from the room. Our host was so lovely, enthusiastic and accommodating. Our only wish was that we stayed longer than two nights. It was our highlight of our northern Spain trip.
Very clean, spacious environment and a pleasant escape from the quirky charms of Cudillero. Good level of facilities including washing machine etc. Comfortable both for overnight and for relaxing when hot or after a big lunch. A really excellent break on our travels through Spain 🇪🇸.
The property is beautiful with fruit trees and flowers everywhere and was a nice break from staying in hotels. It is a short drive to the beach in one direction, and to Cudillero in another. The hosts were quite friendly and each of the three rooms is comfortable.
The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the bus station and the view points of Cudillero as well of its port, restaurants and supermarket.
The room was big and the bathroom very clean. Towels and gels were facilitated.
General welcome and warm attitude of staff/owners. Very helpful. The location is excellent and the building has a lot of character. We felt we were staying with local people rather than in an anonymous corporate hotel.
Beautiful location, quiet and relaxing. Friendly hostess. We went on some hikes and got a lot of rest. It rained, as it usually happens in Asturias, and the house felt very cozy.
Very comfortable and well equipped, quiet and with access to the pretty garden. Excellent bar with good food and lovely hotel for breakfast, both a few minutes walk away.
