The hotel was lovely. Our room was fairly basic, and small, but had nice touches (fabrics etc), and we had a large bathroom. the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. There was lots of parking. The village is very nice, and it is conveniently close to Cheverny Chateau
A small village surrounded by the forest. There are two bakeries, a supermarket, several restaurants. Thursday is a market day.
There is a nice church and a lot of trekking opportunities around.
Bracieux is a quiet place on the border of Chambord park. Chambord can be reached by bike in half an hour.
The place is good to visit Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, to spend a lot of time in the nature.
The wine domaines like Cheverny and Tourraine are close by for those who like a nice wine degustation.

Good centre for visiting Loire .
Good centre for visiting Loire . Fantastic area to cycle, we didn’t have time on this visit. Bicycle hire at our hotel was very reasonable. Some lovely walks around village, which has a medieval market building. Several restaurants of variable prices.
We went to Cafe du Commerce, huge buffet libre for €17.50, and the Breton Creperie next door, from €8.50 for omelette and salad.

Lovely village with more stores and services than the smaller villages in the area. Numerous restaurants, a Thursday morning market in the market Square, interesting chateaux, wineries and local agricultural produce nearby. Good for families. Easy to get around if you have your own car.
Beautiful and very quiet small town, unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the grounds surrounding this small hotel. The entrance from the street was small but clearly marked with a sign. There was plenty of parking inside the courtyard. Our room was very clean, with a very nice patio door, with a full size "volet" to close for privacy.
The hostess was super friendly with recommendations for good restaurants in town, since many businesses close on Mondays in France !
The location is very conveniently in the middle of town but with a charming, quiet, park like feel.
The buildings, though modern, have an individuality which is attractive.
The receptionist was very friendly and is helping us to recover some things my wife left at the hotel.
And they have a lovely little dog.
All in all, a very nice experience.
A convenient location the beautiful little village of Bracieux. The room has front and rear doors from the exterior, so plenty privacy and space to sit outside in the evening. Usual European buffet breakfast. Limited interaction with staff which will suit some as it was very unobtrusive. Location is ideal for Chateau de Chambord.
This is a great little hotel in a quiet village (but with an excellent creperie in the main square which the hotel staff kindly booked for us). We had a friendly welcome, a comfortable bed in a quiet room and an excellent breakfast. Lots of parking at the rear of the hotel.
Very friendly helpful staff. Very clean room every day when we returned from our daily trips. The hotel has bicycle rentals, a pool, and EV charging. We especially loved the tables outside where we could relax at breakfast time and before bedtime.
not a top hotel but the room was clean and comfortable. There was a table and chairs outside the French windows. Breakfast was ok. Bike parking very secure. great hotel for stop over. really rate it for a stop on cycling tour
Pleasant location on the edge of a nice village - very quiet. Basic accommodation but ok for overnight stop. Excellent restaurant serving reasonably priced great food about 300m walk from the "hotel". Good breakfast
Great location and a very clean and welcoming hotel. Very friendly staff and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. They also had a cute little lounge where you can relax with your family.
Simply furnished but very comfortable hotel. We particularly enjoyed our own little terrace. Breakfast was inexpensive but fully adequate and very good.
