Housed in a historical building, this hotel is ideally located in the heart of Mont Saint-Michel. The classic-style rooms overlook the bay, the abbey or the medieval city.

We booked the double room with terrance. Although the room is a little bit wore out, we would definitely book it again because the view of the room is unbeatable.

The location is ideal if you want to be close to Mont St Michel. We had dinner at the same restaurant (Le Pré Salé) where we then had breakfast the next morning and the meal/service were both very good. The restaurant staff was efficient and particularly flexible with our wishes. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had recently been renovated. It was very quiet.

They offered us a very big room. The photo I made was made in the evening so not very clear. There was a bathroom and a separate toilet. It was very clean and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very kind.

We followed travel advice and arrived very late in the afternoon. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a restaurant just after the entrance to the island and then climbed the stairs to our accommodation. The island was quiet and peaceful as all the day trippers had gone. In the morning we enjoyed an early breakfast at the restaurant and were ready to enter the abbey at 9 AM with only a small group of people. Upon leaving the crowds were growing as we had heard they would, and we were glad we followed the advice we had been given. Take time to explore all the passageways and the cemetery. Be warned that you will climb literally hundreds of steps.

A magical place best viewed in early morning or late afternoon evening. Otherwise, there are a lot of tourists clogging the narrow medieval streets. I recommend an overnight stay to fully enjoy this place.

This is an iconic location to visit.
This is an iconic location to visit. But like many tourist experiences, it is drifting a little into theme park territory. The abbey is many years past being used in a religious context (in part because it was converted into a prison by Napoleon after the revolution). So the cathedral has lost some of its soul. But the history is rich, and the location is amazing. The views are wonderful, and after the tourists have left for the day, the island is well worth exploring.

The Abbey tour itself was nice, but the mob we had to struggle thru to get there was a nightmare. And when we were done with the tour? Wall to Wall humanity. As if they dropped Euro Disney into the middle of the medieval walkways. We were here the first week of May, before the U.S. tourists even started arriving. I cannot imagine how awful this would have been with even more people. This is a magnificent place, well worth seeing ... FROM A DISTANCE. The walkways to the Mont were utterly jammed with people, and after a 40 minute wait the shuttles were stuffed like sardines. STAY AWAY! (Or maybe go in February or something). Take a photo from a distance and KEEP ON DRIVING.

The shuttles from the hotel complex are free and run every 10mns or so. It's also a lovely 2km walk from the hotel if you want to avoid the packed shuttle.
Don't bother spending a fortune on the hotels as they're all in the same place and are all about the same really.
The restaurant Le Pré Salé is the best and is a must if you're into good food. Book early though!
I recommend going in the evening to the mont st michel after 3pm when crowds start to leave. We went around 12pm and it was very busy despite it being a Monday mid season.
The self guided audio tour is great and well worth it.
And food is outrageously expensive in the Mont village and really not so good. Best bring a picnic and save your money for a nice restaurant in the evening.
All this said, a fabulous day out!

Mont St Michel is wonderful to visit.
Mont St Michel is wonderful to visit. The accommodation however was very poor and in an annex which was hard to find. The room was small and in very bad condition. Light switch hanging off the wall, tv and bedside lights did not work and space very limited. We had to persuade the restaurant staff that we had prepaid for dinner! Would certainly pick another hotel if we returned, which we won’t.

The hotel is a in a perfect location to visit Le Mont Saint Michel, particularly if you are visiting for 1 night. It is neat and clean with very helpful staff. The car park is right in front.Have your access code ready at the gait in order to access the area. The bus stop is steps away from the front door...bus runs frequently to the island. There are also several restaurants nearby.Good breakfast buffet.
Highly recommend.
Every aspect of visit to Normandy was disrupted when SNCF cancelled the prepaid train line from Lille to Rouen, so I couldn’t access my prepaid rental car inTouen, and couldn’t visit the American Cemetary or Mont St. Michel as planned. My only experience about your hotel was being told “too damn bad” and being reimbursed when I explained why we had to cancel. Does this sound like a good time to you?
Great location, very comfortable accommodation. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy check in and clear communication before arrival. Great size room with nice coffee and tea maker. Water for the guests. Comfortable, well maintained and isolated room with private balcony. Warm and comfortable bed. Fridge and security safe in room. Easy access to Mont St. Michel. Nice restaurants near by.
We stayed at the hotel one night. The location, right near the Mont Saint Michel is exceptional. There is a free shuttle that runs every couple of minutes stopping right in front of the hotel. You can park in front of the hotel.
The morning breakfast was very good. The facilities were great and clean. The beds very comfortable, overall very silent. Loved it!
The hotel was clean and comfortable for one night stay on the Mont. A perfect location right on the Main Street and with access to the ramparts. The restaurant associated with the hotel was good for dinner and breakfast. There are lots of steps up and down to get to rooms, so be prepared with a small backpack or bag.
The Hotel located just right to the free shuttle bus stop to Saint Mont Michel. We drive to Normandy and we appreciate It has a lot of parking space just infront of the hotel! very friendly customer service and I am happy the hotel staff able to reserve a room on ground floor for older folks.
very very close to the place for the mount saint michel. its the best option for one or two night maximum. the mirror from the room is with the mountain. small, but confortable room. the breakfast was in another hotel nearby and its was amazing.
The staff was helpful and efficient.
The room was lovely and had a beautiful sea view! The restaurant staff was courteous and professional. The food was decent and the prices were to be expected due to being on the island.
probably one of the best in the island, but you got to keep in mind they are very old buildings, so you are not going to get 5 or even 4 star.
it was brilliant to stay on the island and have that extra time on your doorstep
Great to stay on the island, location is perfect with easy access to every where and key to have a safe haven in the day time. Facilities more than adequate and not too noisy. Breakfast is good if a little crowded.
Situated on the Island. Easy access to the abbey. Breakfast was OK. We were able to walk around the abbey later at night and early morning with out the crowds was the bonus!
We wanted to stay on the island so the accomodation, whilst not perfect, served the purpose. Breakfast was average, and expensive for what was provided.
