Set on the hills of Mougins, once home to Picasso, Le Manoir de L'Etang is a beautiful manor house from the 19th-century situated in a park overlooking a small lake covered with Lotus flowers.

Very nice terrasse, perfect for the aperitiv and the breakfast. The dinner was excellent and the wine selection has a very good price/quality ratio. The service was very friendly but still efficient.
Overall very happy and to be recommended.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean room and great communal facilities which we were really able to enjoy as there were very few guests.
The breakfast is limited but good value- given the limited options in the town - worth having. Note that there is no grocery store in the town so bring snacks etc with you.

Mougins is a lovely small town, near Cannes on the French Riviera. There are restaurants, bars, fruit and produce stands and a full-service grocery store; Places to shop, all within reasonable walking distance.
With a car, there are so many interesting and beautiful places to visit. It's a wonderful base to explore the Riviera and I would encourage anyone to visit.

Mougins has changed over time, and we thought we had come back once too often. We have been here over a dozen times in 40 years, and we love it. Several things are less than they were, first being the cuisine. Of course Vergé has passed on, but there seem to be few young chefs aspiring for greatness there. This impression may be partly due to our timing. Several restaurants were seasonally closed. Also, the sculptures all over town of all the fruits and vegetables was rather tasteless, and lent a tawdry appearance. Chic it was not. And moving Commandant Lamy’s statue was an act of disrespect. This was our last trip, but we are grateful for the many happy days we have enjoyed in Mougins.

Mougins is a small and pretty hilltop village with picturesque cobblestone streets, a selection of restaurants (mainly for dinner I think), galleries and views of the mountains and the sea. It is ideally located within 15' minutes from Antibes and Cannes and it's a tranquil and relaxing place to unwind and be in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Mougins (old town) is so picturesque.
Mougins (old town) is so picturesque. It’s a beautiful place full of good restaurants and lots of art. We would highly recommend l’Amandier, which serves lovely food and has a beautiful view, if you’re lucky enough to get a table outside. We also enjoyed Au Rendez-vous in the Square, although the best tables are for 2 or 3 people.
There’s a waterpark less than half an hour away, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Mougins is a beautiful village in the hills behind Cannes.
Mougins is a beautiful village in the hills behind Cannes. Picasso spent the last years of his life here and the village is now a centre for artists whose workshops dominate the streets. Dining options in the village can be pricey and booking is advisable. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area. You can combine with a trip up to Grasse.
This hotel is located along a main road but is surrounded by palm and fig trees and is actually a very charming, calm and cosy place to stay, with a nice pool. The main house (typical from Provence) is simple but rooms are pleasant, ours was quite large and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast is served in a large room or in the patio, with excellent homemade cakes. Parking lot behind the hotel is large and safe. Last but not least, the cat of the house is so friendly!
This location and property is a dream come true. OMG! It is sensational. Camilla and John are so accommodating. We had a 5 course dinner that was 3 Michelin star quality. We had special request for dinner which was accommodated last minute ask.. Pool
Area was great and relaxing with the Cigalaus in the background
We will be back

Calm location, very spacious room (we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment!), kitchen is well equipped, very friendly and helpful staffs. We loved to have our meals in the nice balcon!
The old town of Mougins is a must to visit. About 15 min walk from the hotel.
It’s has very beautiful garden , cute and small territory.
Dinner was amazing( we had a nice waiter , which gave us good suggestions for food and wine, he was super kind)
The whole design and setting of the hotel amazing. The receptionists are very helpful.
A beautiful building inside and out! Our host was charming, helpful and served the most delicious breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble and the view of Mougins from our bedroom was spectacular!! It was like having your own home in Provence,
Great location. Pleasant, well decorated room with nice view. Large bathroom.
This is, in fact, the only hotel, or hotel like, facility in the old village. All other accommodations are for apartment rentals.
The location was excellent, just outside of the old village. Easy walk to the centre ville. Charming host who has multiple properties in Mougins, we are staying with him again later in our trip.
This is not a resort by American standards, but a very nice property compared to other local hotels in its price range. Very comfortable bed with separate kitchen and living area. Great Wifi.
There is a worm swimming pool, air-conditioning, and clean towels every day, a rather nice view from one side of the hotel (behind the highway), Mougins and Grasse are not far away.
even though it was in St Basilica not Mougins proper it was very quiet. it was situated amongst the very wealthy and the other houses towered over it.
the living area was lovely
