The welcome, being shown to an exceptionally spacious and tastefully furnished room. The light lunch in the 'secret garden' and walk across the meadow behind directly into the grounds of Dunster Castle was perfect for dog and owners alike! Delicious evening meal, attentive service matched in the morning by a gorgeous breakfast.
Whilst we chose Dunster because of the AGM of the South West Path Association, the remaining stay was to celebrate my partners birthday and enjoy some romance. The Luttrell Arms was the perfect stay.

Staff friendly and reliable but the reception wasn't always manned as the staff had other jobs to do,not the fault of the staff but a resource issue for Wetherspoons to sort out?

Great hotel in good location. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff.
Lovely site next to the beach and West Somerset Steam...
Lovely site next to the beach and West Somerset Steam Railway where you can travel by Steam train to Minehead. Also an Open top bus leaves the site every day to Lynmouth.
There is a swimming pool on site and a cafe bar with views of the beach.
The only thing this site needs is a proper shop, the nearest shop is miles away. Reception sells about a dozen items but it's not enough.

This place is such a gem!
This place is such a gem! The whole process of checking in was so easy. The owners are so lovely and the staff are great. Beautiful views from room 1.
I will definitely be returning. A stone throw to the beach. I didn't eat at the pub but the menu looked good and the pub garden is lovely because of the beautiful ocean views.
