The room was large with a nice view over the garden. The bed was comfortable. The shower lacked power but was hot. The bar was nice and the beer garden great we had lunch outside which was very tasty and great value. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Especially the manager who served us lunch. The hotel is in a beautiful location and is dog friendly.

Shona is a wonderful and kind host. Probably the nicest person we've come across so far on our trip. She always wants to make sure you're comfortable, and has such lovely tips for enjoying the area. David and Beate were amazing hosts. We felt at home. The accommodation was huge, ideally located in the city, within walking distance of good restaurants and pubs. We had wonderful advice on every question we had. Breakfast was amazing too. I will definitely go back to Haus Alba for the whisky festival next year !! Thank you for everything :)
