B&B Plitvice Lakes Villa Mija, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Offering mountain views, B&B Plitvice Lakes Villa Mija in Plitvica Selo offers accommodations and a garden. This 4-star guest house offers a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space.

A excellent place to stay when visiting Plitvice National Park. A big advantage is its proximity to a little used third entrance to the Park, which is about a 15 minute walk from the Villa. Everything was super clean and the hosts were very friendly and nice. We even left something behind and the owners were kind enough to mail it to us. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty, and convenient, too, since you don't have to travel to a restaurant after a long day hiking.

We stayed in Etno Gardens to be able to access Plitvice NP. It was so easy to walk straight from the unit and into the park, in 300m. David was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice. We had dinner and breakfast there too which was delicious. I would recommend this place to my friends!

Country house Plitvice, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Country house Plitvice enjoys a location in Plitvica Selo, 6.3 miles from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1 and 8.1 miles from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2.

We really enjoyed the hearty simple breakfast, the location (a few minutes walk from the park), and the host (Bosco) was super helpful answering questions, offering to book dinner for us, etc. We only got to enjoy breakfast outside once (due to weather) but it was fun watching the chickens roam around doing their thing!

Yeti Cabin, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Located within the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park, Yeti Cabin is set within the picturesque village of Plitvica Selo. Free WiFi and free parking are available on site.

The property is right next to a stream and surrounded by woods - beautiful! It was super easy to enter with a lock box, and the host Georgie was helpful, present, and accommodating. He even drove us down to the main resort lodge for dinner our first night since we had arrived right around the dinner hour. You can rely on google maps to get there, but when you get closer to the cabin the roads are dirt/gravel and not clearly labeled, so be sure to drive slowly and watch the map you'll get there just fine. Yeti Cabin itself has a very clear sign. I wish we could've stayed longer!

Guesthouse Anka, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Offering a spacious garden with free-to-use barbecue facilities, Guest house Anka is located on a secluded spot 1640 feet from the river Korana. The Plitvice National Park is 4.3 mi away.

A traditional guesthouse experience, my hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. I arrived late at night and at first they were unable to locate my reservation but made me feel right at home and set me up in a room while they worked it out. They did not speak English, but we were able to communicate just fine. For the price, comfort of facilities were as expected. Location was ideal for someone traveling with their own car. Beautiful view and a short 10 minute drive to Entrance 1, market and restaurants. Access to kitchen, wifi and outdoor patio were a must for me.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

    The location is amazing.

The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure. The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant. I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...

This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.

If you look up perfect host in the dictionary this is what you should find. Everything was great, the room cozy and clean, the food delicious, helpful and spot on information about the park and which route is best. The sounding is fairytale like and the location is just near one of the less busy entrances to the park. They even went the extra mile to drive us up the mountain to do a wonderful hike through the forest down to the upper lakes. Highly recommend, hope to come back some day in the autumn to see even more colors.

Really lovely hotel to stay in. It's located nearby the 3rd entrance of Plitvice Falls, so it's like 10 mins to get into the park if that's what you want. Also, the administrator could give you good advice regarding your path around the park. The administrator was pleasant and delightful, we had a great experience communicating with her. Also, many thanks to the administrator and hotel staff for organizing a beautiful birthday experience for me.

The place is so quiet and beautiful! The rooms are so new, i loved all the details Be wear that the kitchen is equipped! You can make yourself a dinner. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and we don’t regret it ! We order mushroom soap and cauliflower soap both were so delicious! We also ordered three main dishes: beef steak, boneless chicken and Trout fish cooked in paper- all were exceptional!! The staff is so polite!

Location was great, close to the entrance of the national parl. Owners of the hotel were very welcoming, they were making sure you are fully comfortable. We liked the food a lot, especially my son, even though he does not like omlettes, he ate his first omlette as it was really delicious. Highly recommend the hotel.

The owner of the hotel offered the best service one can have. It was a very cozy place with a country side feeling, but still really closed to the entrance. Breakfast was served at the time you wished. You could enjoy sweet and beautiful pets while eating outside.

Location, location, location. The third entrance to the Park, which is not "officially" commented on, is right next to the hotel and makes the location fantastic. You do not need to drive once you are there, as the restaurant is also great.
