Very clean hotel. Nice big room. Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff when checking in. Very close to airport with food choices and a supermarket nearby. Good views from upper floors of the volcanic Icelandic landscape and planes landing at Keflavik, (if you like that sort of thing...)

To start from the beginning...At the time you enter this guestgouse you feel the smell of wood which can be seen all around you. People working there are very kind, rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, breakfast great... For me, the Garður Apartments were ideal: there was a kitchen area to prepare food (because there are no nearby restaurants), the area was quiet except for calling birds, and I enjoyed walking to lighthouse that is about 20 minutes' walk away.
