The lady who runs the place was charming and helpful. She drove me to the station on the morning of my departure. She also tried her best to help with my journey to the accommodation - I arrived during a lightning taxi strike! She also laid on a nice breakfast.

This is a nice family vacation hotel near the Rome airport. It had a hardworking staff and owner/manager. Our evening meal there was surprisingly good and breakfast was wonderful. The owner/manager clearly cares about quality. In general, it was more and better than I expected. Cleaning ongoing throughout the day. Beds were comfortable!

It's the nearest sea from Rome.
It's the nearest sea from Rome. The problem is buses are not often passing there. There are not that much for explore at the city centre. I like that quiet area between the bus stop and the beach.

I was looking for a place to stay near the airport for one night. The place is all farms & basically very inconvenient to get to. All back roads. One can see the airport, but to get to it, it takes half hour. I was told that taxi drivers don't even want to take anyone there & they charge extra. If one. comes without a car , u are stranded. The morning we left there was a couple outside & they said they had been waiting for a cab for about half hour. The resort was just a 30 minutes taxi ride from the Roma airport. Due to Covid-19 the resort was not a busy as I expected, but enough people around so I didn't feel like I was the only person there. Restaurants were still open, although not all of them. The resort was great for a lazy long weekend, sitting by the pool and walking along the beach. I'm thinking of going back next month, Covid-19 permitting.

The beach club restaurants were a little disorganised and I found the pasta dishes to be not as I expected. it is very difficult to get around Fregene without some sort of your own transport. In hindsite I woulf recommend hiring a car if you are going to Fregene as the public transport is very limited. The beach clubs are for the most very worn out, and there are very few shops close to the beach area. The town is a lot of very nice houses to look at, but the beach was split up by different beach clubs. I would have liked to visit the nature reserve but it was very hard to access it from the town. The Restaurants in the town were good and I really enjoyed S Club's atmosphere.craigSweden

Our room #202 was small, but the bed was very comfortable with fresh linens and nice pillows. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated and while tiny, worked perfectly well. There were lots of thick towels. We enjoyed sitting outside with a drink and had an excellent meal in the restaurant. The resident cats were also very fun! The hotel is a small scale boutique hotel so not much traffic. Checkin and Checkout easy. The manager is on whatsap constantly to help you with any questions and was very efficient in managing our stay and spoke good english. Helped get us in contact with a car service as well as not easy to find taxis due to location. A lovely garden restaurant downstairs with good food. Ok place to stay for the airport if other closer hotels are unavailable.
