The Saudi Arabian capital, sprawling Riyadh is a mix of historic monuments and ultra-modern skyscrapers. On a plateau surrounded by desert, it is one of the Middle East’s richest cities, so there are several 5-star hotels in Riyadh.
This wealth is also evident in modern architecture, particularly the Kingdom Centre, a perfectly sculpted building looking strangely like a bottle opener. Lit at night, it has an observation deck offering fantastic city views.
On its bottom floor is a shopping mall, and there is another within Al Faisaliyah, the country’s 1st skyscraper. Riyadh is a shopping paradise and yet more malls are on wide, palm-lined King Fahd Road. This king also gave his name to King Fahd Stadium, home of the Saudi football team.
Unusually for a capital, King Khalid International Airport is right in the city centre and there are lots of Riyadh hotels near the airport on Booking.com. South, in Al Murabba, is the King Abdulaziz Historical Centre, site of the Saudi Arabia National Museum. Further south in Dirah is 19th-century Al-Masmak fort with souks and mosques nearby.
Wherever you stay, remember that Saudi Arabia is a deeply Islamic country and that local customs should be respected. Men and women may not be able to access attractions at the same time.
Everything is far from each other and traffic is really bad.
Everything is far from each other and traffic is really bad. Kareem is too expensive and most of the time you get extra charges that you cannot do anything about it. Lots of big malls but all of the more or less copy paste of each other in terms of brands.

Riyadh is a very big place to hang around and you might never be able to book a stay long enough to discover it in its full.
The other thing is that Riyadh is a more liberal place for people to be around, just like a lot of big cities around the world you can see all kinds of different people with different background wandering the streets even though Islamic law prevails, they are not as tough on appearing rules as they may be on the smaller villages and towns in Saudi Arabia.
Just don't do anything an ordinary family (member) would not do and don't mingle in religious affairs and you will be safe.

This is a fast-developing country with ambitions to improve the socio-economic status in the region, so there is no doubt it is already standing out with its infrastructure and its plans for growth in tourism and global awareness. Shopping and a little bit of nature are a must if you would like to immerse yourself in the local culture. On the flip side it is becoming very modern and open to all creeds and cultures with parks, concerts, fairs etc.
Language is not necessarily a barrier, as is in most parts of the world, so don't let that stop you.
Best times to travel are during the winter months in Saudi Arabia.

The city still needs more improvement, heavy traffic is killing the city and killing any plans also the car drivers there are very reckless, The LEAP event was established around 90KM from the city center where all the people can find hotels or houses it was literally in the middle of the desert without any restaurants and cafes, also prices in restaurants and coffeeshop are expensive compared to other Gulf cities like Doha or Dubai, In general it is not that bad but if you travelled before to Qatar, UAE and Oman and expecting the same experience you might feel disappointed, hopefully the new vision to Improve Riyadh and to make the new business capital will be in place and Riyadh will be better keeping in mind that 6-7 years ago nothing was there and the city improved a lot since then
I like the hotel for providing stuff such as tooth brush, tooth paste, slippers, washing machine, and pray mat. Not all hotels provide those small but necessary things. The hotel provide big screen TV with basic chanels. Location is best for people who are planning to go for umrah, because it is located on outskirt of the Riyadh City near highway going to Taif. You will save your time and it is worthed.
I like the breakfast, the food are delicious. But try to come early at around 5 to 6 am.
We only needed a quick overnight stay so this was excellent value in Riyadh compared to the other much pricier options. Free parking. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Had a good rest for our drive next morning.
We were transiting via Riyadh on way back from Umrah. Since we did not need to be in the city center the location of this hotel was quite convenient. We left next morning without getting stuck in Riyadh traffic.
Would definitely book again if required for a similar trip.
The daily dose of hummus and the fresh omelette station were great! Even after two weeks.
If there was an issue, the hotel always tried to solve the issue immediately.
The personnel were friendly! Many thanks go Rana, Tanvir and Sib Hussain for their friendly service.
It was relatively close to the Boulevard Riyadh City where I had my meetings as well as the airport.
Actually even small but it is a 5 stars hotel. Or better.
Service , clean and cooperation from all staff was great.
The manager is professional and follow up every comment
Breakfast is Turely a 5 stars in taste and variety
I will stay here every time I visit Riyadh

The location is great and near to every place in the city
One of the best hotel in Riyadh and my first preference always. Clean and spacious rooms... Very good aroma. Clean carpets and furniture. Spacious bathrooms. Big flat TV. Breakfast is amazing.. With many choice of dishes and tasty
The best apartment hotel in Riyadh as per the size of the apartments me and my family love to spend our short stay in this place, close to some good places to eat as per our liking and comfortable.
The hotel is new and beautiful, close to the the Riyadh airport. Only issue is noise from another customer's kids at all night. If additional door is added to the room might reduce noise
The breakfast was very good with lots of different options, the spa very relaxing and the employees always nice and available. One of the best hotels we’ve been in Riyadh.
