Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute.
Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute. Unfortunately, we had such a busy rehearsal schedule that we did not have time to explore! We will go back, and plan some exploration time - but we will not stay at El Rancho Boulder Motel.

No coffee pot in room, no dresser for clothes, refrigerator...
No coffee pot in room, no dresser for clothes, refrigerator froze solid my bottle of water. $50 deposit for each night I stayed - several days to get back. Only general store for food. I would not stay here again.

A lovely little town with charm.
A lovely little town with charm. It was clean, super easy to navigate and so very safe. It was a perfect location for things we wanted to do: see Hoover Dam, check out Lake Mead and do some hiking. This is a perfect city for a weekend get away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Interesting small town.
Interesting small town. Plenty of amenties and different dining choices for such a small town. Would like to go again with my wife and spend a weekend! Had an easy time getting a place to eat and was well taken care of by all of the restaruants I visited. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality all around! Oh yes, if you stay in town there is really no need to drive around. Easily walkable and nice wide sidewalks to get around.

The shopping was very fun.
The shopping was very fun. Dining was amazing, especially Milo's and BrewPub - loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks! Driving to Lake Mead and exploring off-road was so much fun! The amount of beautiful scenery is not lacking.
Great location within Boulder City. To be fair, the BW is one of the best options in the area because it is one of the only options in the area. I'm not sure there is another chain. Recent renovations were a plus (but see downside).
Largely selected this hotel as a last stop after seeing the Dam and prior to flying out of LAS the next day. I did not want to stay in Las Vegas proper (lots of reasons not to) and found this convenient to the airport the next morning (maybe 20 minute drive).
Good location between Lake Mead and Boulder City. The room was very clean and comfortable, although slightly outdated. Nice big TV in the room, and I always appreciate having a microwave and fridge. Reception staff were super nice. I realize the prices for hotels anywhere near Las Vegas is silly money, but you get much better value further on in Arizona and Utah, so I can't help but compare. That said, I'd happily stay here again.
The location near Hoover Dam was perfect. Loved being able to walk to Fox BBQ for dinner - it’s a not-to-be-missed casual dining experience with amazing burnt ends and fun servers (staff). In the hotel, we had the king suite and it was lovely: appointed in art deco style, modern white bedding, and classic wingback chairs in the living area. It was clean and bright due to the large windows. We enjoyed the museum as well.
Great location for the Hoover Dam - this is the first Casino you arrive at in Nevada from Arizona - historically was a leader in its field. Entrance hall traditional. Staff lovely. Good breakfast food and options. Decor dated in rooms - but clean. Casino and hotel very quiet - not sure where all the customers were. although we arrived quite late and left quite promptly.
This hotel is the cutest place! It’s immaculate and the beds are very comfortable! The staff is so friendly and helpful. It’s a few steps from the hotel entrance to the Main Street of Historic Downtown Boulder City and surrounded on all sides with bars, restaurants & boutiques of every kind! I’ll definitely be visiting again!
Everything was fabulous here. The room, the lady at reception, the cleanliness, the things to visit in the area…..absolutely everything!
Boulder City at New Years was calm so if you are looking for party central, forget it, but for two retired French folk it was just perfectj
El Rancho Boulder is a comfortable place in a superb location. Proximity to the Boulder City historic district is great, and always results in a walking tour or restaurant stop. The staff is friendly and helpful, and we look forward to our our next visit as soon as we leave.
Nice authentic and historic hotel. Each room decorated differently. Good location for visiting Hoover dam and west Grand Canyon. Nice place to get away from hustle and bustle of Vegas but still close enough to get onto strip in 30 mins.
The staff was super friendly and the area was extremely safe. The hotel was the perfect middle ground for all the places we were there to see. The pool was super warm, perfect for those chilly winter nights.
this is a nice little casino near the Hoover dam. we always stay here the night before our river adventure. The smoke from the casino is annoying, I could only stay in there like 15 min
Amazing time with friends. Enjoyed the little casinos and restaurants within the hotel. Enjoyed the location. Prime location to meet our tour group in the morning.
