La Quinta by Wyndham Chattanooga-Hamilton Place, hotel in Chattanooga

Less than 3 miles from the Hickory Valley Golf Course, this inviting Chattanooga, Tennessee, hotel offers an indoor pool and daily continental breakfast buffet.

I loved that there was a separating door between our bed and the couch area. We were travelling with our dog and the door really kept the room quiet from any hallway noise. We will definitely return.

I booked a four-night stay from April 11th to 15th through booking, and then extended it to one night. I kept booking and it was stated that the original stay was for one night, so the total would be five nights. As a result, your hotel paid me more money. Why can I be charged repeatedly for one night? I hope this charge will be refunded.

We were there 3 days and loved it.

We were there 3 days and loved it. We went on the Thursday - Saturday of spring break. We had to pre-purchase all our events because it was busy. Our favorite thing was renting electric scooters & touring downtown. We also went to the incline railway, an escape room on a train car, rode an actual train & visited Naughty Cat Cafe. There you can enjoy a coffee while you pet cats up for adoption. Plenty of great places to eat, although we stuck to the chain restaurants. We didn't have enough time in our trip to see all the great attractions available. The only downside was traffic. I-24 & I-75 were busy, but anyone from Atlanta will not see it as a problem.

We were there for a meeting, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the National Medal of Honor Museum and highly recommend it to everyone! Pucketts is on the opposite side of the same building so once you are finished with your Museum tour, you can grab a bite to eat. You will not leave hungry! Also, a super fun adventure for the family is the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum! We love trains and it is a sure WIN with any Thomas the Tank engine lovers!! Look on their website for special events and days when the trains are 'running'. Just TERRIFIC!

Chattanooga has lots of great things to enjoy (we like Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls, Creative Discovery Museum (for our son). There's the Aquarium as well. However, driving around Chattanooga is terrible (road layout and people driving like idiots - I'm a confident and competent driver but still felt that my family and I were in significant danger on the roads) and the city has a nice center surrounded by a vast, sprawling, poorly planned industrial zone. Therefore, I highly recommend planning your stay and routes carefully in advance, basing yourself either downtown or on Lookout Mountain and planning driving routes in advance.

We are elderly and had disabilities and asked for bottom floor. We had to go up 2 flights of stairs. We also told them about our pets (as it was shown as pet friendly) and they overcharged us for the pets! They did not speak much english and were very difficult to understand. Very little breakfast, just individually wrapped cookies, juice and bad coffee!! It was the worst place we have ever stayed and I would never recommend it to anyone!!

The hotel is very quiant, located in downtown Chatanooga. Conveniently located in front of a YMCA (for those that love the gym), across from a parking lot (if you decide to not do valet parking), and close to many restaurants. The staff was very friendly from arrival to departure. The best customer service I have ever received in my life. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Valet parking is definitely worth it. i would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through or if you are exploring the area.

This hotel underwent a huge renovation a few years ago, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. The overall retro-late ‘80s atmosphere of the hotel is pretty awesome. Definitely beat expectations, especially as the hotel seems like a ‘motel’ from afar (which are associated with certain connotations). Only here for one night, but staff is very friendly, the people are close, and they provide Chattanooga-based moon pies and RC cola as a housewarming gift!

We just used the hotel as a base of operations to see some of downtown Chattanooga over the weekend. The property is very convenient to all that downtown has to offer. It was a short drive up the mountain to see Ruby Falls and Rock City. Bonus for the Chattanooga market being indoors at the convention center, which adjoins the hotel.

We loved the fresh food at the breakfast area. It was kept super clean and refilled often, and the coffee was really nice. Our room was nice and clean. The hotel is on a hill, so there is a nice view from there. The pool area was surprisingly large and the water was warm. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Front desk staff was very friendly, welcoming, and gracious to our large group at check in and out. The kids were ecstatic that the hotel had a basketball for them to shoot some hoops (near the pool) for a few hours as a destressor before heading to a regional swim meet downtown Chattanooga that night.
