What a wonderful town so full of history!
What a wonderful town so full of history! So many interesting stores with historical backgrounds. Definitely visit the Pacific War Museum and go to a reenactment if there's one on that day. Too many great places to eat, drink and shop in.

Downtown Fredericksburg is cute with lots of shops, although most are pricey. Free street parking! Many, many wineries nearby!
Lady Bird Park is amazing! We were in town for viewing the solar eclipse, and they treated us like royalty! No charge for admittance. No parking passes needed. Tons of staff available throughout! Permanent restrooms and tons of porta potties. Free eclipse glasses. Food and souvenirs available. The park is big, beautiful, and well-maintained. We were in a car, but there were camping sites too. Surprisingly fast and easy getting out of the park due to folks directing traffic. Kudos to whomever was in charge of Lady Bird Park on April 8, 2024!

All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite.
All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite. Things went well with all reservations. The price for the rental was high dye to the eclipse. Even guides at enchanted Rock were helpful and allowed us in, even though we didn't have reservations.

I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive.
I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive. Most of the items we looked at were made in China and overpriced. We were disappointed in the items available and the prices.
I would have enjoyed seeing more of the town and learning more about the community.

Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas! But just not Wine Country, Fredericksburg has so many things to do and great places to eat and drink. Early Texas and German culture mixed with a first-class atmosphere!

Fredericksburg is a weekend town catering for tourists.
Quieter during the week which I preferred. Lots to see and do in the area. Museums and wineries to visit.
Live music in the saloons and some restaurants which I enjoyed.
I will stay here again in a heartbeat! The room was beautiful. The beds comfortable. Everything was clean. The lobby was lovely. The hot breakfast was wonderful. Our poolside room was quiet even with many kids & people outside. Location is ideal! We walked everywhere we wanted within downtown Fredericksburg. I am so happy I picked this spot for my girls trip. The staff members were friendly and welcoming.
We stayed at 3 la quintas over the course of this trip and this one was by far the best stay. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and even made recommendations for things to see and places to visit while we were in town. The hot breakfast that had been promised was also provided and was very good. The location of the hotel was very close to everything that we wanted to see.
The lady at the frontdesk was nice and kind at checking in and out. The lobby had a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The location was walkable to the museum and restaurants and shopping downtown.
Honestly the room was old, but I could see their effort to clean as much as possible. It's worth it to stay for the price.
This place was a great find! My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our recent spring break trip. It was convenient to downtown Fredericksburg, wineries, Enchanted Rock State Park, and Luckenbach. The cottage truly had a Texas feel to it which was a nice touch - very charming!
The motel is very clean and everyone was really nice.
It is great for the price and downtown is only a short drive away.
We stayed one night to visit Fredericksburg and it was perfect for a short stay.
We like the comfort of the large rooms. The hotel lobby is bright and airy and the reception staff are wonderfully helpful. The breakfast is very good and there is an airy seating area to eat breakfast.
Great place! One of the best place we've ever been. Very comfortable, cozy, easy to reach and very quiet but only 10min drive from Fredericksburg. The hot tub add a sparkle to the stay
The property was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and cozy. It has a great location. Only a mile from downtown. We will stay there again when we come back to Fredericksburg.
The hotel is worn, but very clean. It is walking distance to Sunset Grill, one of our favorite places to eat in Fredericksburg. It is in a really quiet part of town.
