I requested to check in early to prepare for my wedding. Not only did they accommodate that request, they even gave us a larger room to have space for the team to set up AND gave us a card and champagne. I could have cried from how kind everyone at the Goodwin was to us.

The bed and pillows were sooo comfortable! I got a lovely spacious room, nicely sized bathroom, plenty of channels, also with fast WiFi, the perfect setup for staying in until night time! Near plenty of restaurants! The daily breakfast was actually pretty good with a lot of options. Don't miss it! The staff was very friendly and kind!

This property is a dump. If I could give negative starts, I would. First of all, it is super dirty and very uncomfortable. even for one person. Bathroom is impossible to use: bathtub is old, molded and slippery. Toilet is low like for little kids. Living room has nothing but dirty loveseat, not even some kind old TV - cant do anything in there. Bedroom has pretty bad mattress and nightstands are super small and flimsy. Kitchen is so dark and facing super dirty public stairs where other people are smoking and all smells goes inside your apartment. It is not safe either, since kitchen door to outside is partially from glass and anybody can break in. I walked into this apartment and left instantly. Then I tried to explain that I was not satisfied with conditions and dint' want to stay there and therefore I was hoping to get at least partial reimbursement, but it was declined. On the tope of keeping payment for the place I didn't stay they charged me cleaning fees saying that they saw me on cameras getting inside. Ye, idiots, I had to go inside to see this dump to let you know that it was not even close to what they described. However, they pretended that they didn't see me leaving 10 minutes later and never came back. Another things the view from the window: huge dirt parking lot used for cars during events.

nice to have parking, and a washing machine and drier.
Beautiful city if you stay at the right place. There's a lot to explore. The food was delicious and I was unaware of this beforehand because it can actually be really hard to find the good places when trying to look them up. It's almost better to drive around until you see something you might want to check out. For reference I ate at the Max Downtown and Trumbull Kitchen. Also there are parking garages literally everywhere. Just be aware of their closing times.

The hotel was great.
The hotel was great. I came in on the train which was a two minute walk to the hotel. We dined at Black Eyed Sally's which was a very short walk from the hotel. Also, we enjoyed walks in Bushnell Park.
The woman minding the Continental Breakfast section, was very pleasant however there were items missing such as butter and I expected more fresh fruit like apples and oranges.
Overall, my stay was enjoyable.

It is a city with many beautiful older buildings, lovely parks. And a lot of homeless and a mix of business people who feel better than other people. The architecture is gorgeous. The people leave something to be desired. Stores close early and open up late. Very hard to get any kind of pet food. Unless you take transportation or drive miles on

I loved visiting the Mark Twain House but as we tried to find some interesting things to do there in the Hartford area, we didn't find much to our personal interests. We were there to watch the UConn men's soccer team but I'm not certain I'd revisit except for that reason alone. We did however learn that the witch trials originally happened here 30 years (app 1660's) before the Salem Witch Hunt but I found little to do in Hartford to learn more about this. The food in the city was good with a good selection of restaurants.

We only stayed at Hartford for one night, as a stop on our way to the Mohawk Trail / Mount Greylock. I wish now that we had allowed for a day's stay there as by the time we had seen only a little of the attractions of Hartford it was well into the afternoon. Places like Mark Twain's house and the River development are a must. If we ever get back to New England Hartford will be on our stay for a while list. An easy city to find your way around. almost limitless choices for excellent dining.
I stayed at the hotel Hilton Hartford for one night. The access to the hotel was easy by car and it has quite wide parking lots under the basement, which was also safe and convenient, costed USD 19.00 a night. The room was clean and good for a family to stay. They serve breakfast separately and I didn't have breakfast due to schedule. They responded quickly and kindly when asked.
Quiet area, close to downtown Hartford. Good restaurant called Chowder Pot within walking distance. Glad there were USB ports/electrical outlets by the night stand. Comfortable bed. Glad there were some breakfast items included like coffee, juice, cereal, milk, applesauce, peanutbutter and crackers, donuts. Staff was friendly and helpful.
If you’re looking for The W don’t stay here. Otherwise, while obviously aging, it has all of the things. Very convenient location right next to the train station in downtown Hartford; spacious room with big fridge, microwave, desk; great value free breakfast; picturesque park across the street; onsite parking (not sure if that’s extra tho).
Excellent views over the Hartford Skyline. Apartment beautifully and tastefully decorated, bed was super comfy, great water pressure in the shower, rooms are spacious. Used both the washer and dryer which were great. A truly lovely apartment with a super responsive host.
The whole place is exceptionally clean and quiet. The room was very comfortable. I was impressed by the attention to details that the owner put during the time I spent at the property. I highly recommend "Pacifico" for anyone visiting Hartford downtown.
So they do not like to give you refunds even if you do a mistake in the app and rented a day but by accident put the wrong dates 📅 you are pretty much hit for your money they are the most greediest hotel I ever been in they are scammers
The view on the very top of the hotel was splendid. The manager gave us an upgrade room from the original room that was really stinking. I complained about it and we changed rooms.
