When I checked in to the property I was shocked to see that the carpet was torn, the curtains were off the rails and it was not cleaned properly. I mentioned this to the front desk and requested a discount or refund from them. I have not heard anything back since then. It was a busy weekend so I could not find other accommodation in the same price range.

Great value for money. Comfortable beds and clean facilities.
Absolutely beautiful area. Very charming downtown with a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Beaches a short drive away. Highly recommend SLO Provisions for breakfast. El Esquina for a delicious meal. Farmers Market on Thursday nights give a wonderful sense of local products, foods and services. Very easy to walk around downtown. Morro Bay is an easy 20 min away. A beautiful drive. Morro Bay is a charming beach filled with local surfers, people walking their dogs or just hanging out to soak in the waves and surrounding beauty.

Close to downtown, shopping and restaurants to include the famous Madonna Inn. We were there to visit our student at CalPoly. Great amenities for our family. Always nice to have extra space in our room with the living room/dining area.

Very pleasant town with access to beautiful hikes.
Very pleasant town with access to beautiful hikes. Easy to get around. I loved how unique all the different buildings and houses were. Food was only decent, but not terrible. Good breweries, too! Very walkable. The highlight was going to the hot spring resort for their hour-use tubs.

Beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place to visit. University town with a lovely walkable downtown. Lots of restaurants. Many people biking. Close to Pismo and Avila Beach, Morro Bay (and Rock) and the gorgeous central coast.Always love coming to SLO but it can be very pricey. This was a quick family visit so didn’t eat out much. Always find time for a latte at Scout coffee. If you are on a budget, check out hotel prices in advance prior to choosing dates. Inexpensive places jump to over $200 per night during certain weekends.

We went for an early morning run up the convenient bike path into SLO. We had a great tour of the city on foot and visited the El Camino Real sites and the Mission. We ran back through the hills and had a great view of the surrounding areas. Worth returning to visit. High up on the historic trail.

You could make yourself some pancakes for breakfast. They were really delicious and you could always meet someone in the kitchen and the living room area. The hosts are really nice people and you feel really welcomed, safe and comfortable around the house. There are enough bathrooms and everything was really clean. The beach is only a few miles with a car anbd San Luis Obispo is a really clean and interesting city itself. Overall a really good experience.
Our family travelled in USA for 3 weeks and stayed in about 10 hotels. Quality Suites Downtown SLO is the best. The decoration style in the hall is unique and beautiful. Very friendly and helpful staff (front desk, bar, kitchen etc.). The room is comfortable and spacious. The happy hour (free drinks) and the BBQ every night is very impressive. The breakfast is high-quality and well-prepared.
We did not plan to stay in San Luis Obispo, but decided to have a rest stop after a long drive. It was a fast and very good decision to book this hotel. Neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. The price of the room was very nice considering that it’s California where everything is expensive. Room was big and clean, beds were comfy. I would recommend it for anyone.
Very weird but interesting place. Room was fun and decor in restaurant and bar was crazy and weird, tacky but in a good way. Nice with a hotel with some character. The food was nice in the Cooper cafe, didn’t try the steak house as it was very pricey. The best part was the pool area - lovely big pool, bar that served drinks and sandwiches and just nice spot to be.
Everything about the stay was quite nice. Personnel was friendly and helpful. The full breakfast and evening happy hour exceeded expectations. We must say that the shower head was the best we have ever encountered at any hotel!!! The room was so spacious. Thank you to all personnel and management for a wonderful experience.
This is our third time staying at this hotel and it will be our hotel next time we come down to SLO. We LOVE this hotel so much. The location is sooo convenient, it's super clean and quiet. It is just the perfect spot to be near downtown and easy to jump on the freeway to go on an adventure.
This is a small motel near the downtown area of SLO. Nothing too fancy but very adequate and reasonably priced. The shower was hot, AC worked great, parking very close to the room and 15 min walk to downtown SLO. We booked it on short notice and worked out just fine. I would stay again.
The setting is superb! The price was reasonable as compared to other locations in nearby San Luis Obispo. We had an excellent room that included a patio with an unobstructed view of the Back Bay. The Inn is in superior condition and looks like it was just recently painted.
Great hotel and wish we were there for longer. Breakfast was delivered to the door ready for when we woke. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The shower was superb and left us feeling the freshest we have been since being away. Thanks San Luis Creek Lodge.
The bed was really comfortable!
New table lamps with plug sockets have been installed by bed side to make up for lack of sockets to meet modern traveller requirements (it is an old hotel)
The shower pressure and temperature was good.
The staff! Super friendly and nice!
Lina, you rock.
Rooms are big, clean and comfy.
Walking distance to downtown.
Probably the best motel your gonna find in slo
