Everything exceed expectations. We stayed in many airbnb and accomdations during our 14 days road trip and I can say that this hits the top 3. Its located on a large compound with hostel, cabin, campsite. Fantastic place to rest, relax and explore.

Nice and cosy room, with access to a well-equipped kitchen and to a large bathroom with a couple of showers, toilets and sinks. The staff is very friendly and the area around the guesthouse is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, with local products from the farm, such as smoked trout, homemade jam and bread. They also have an ice cream shop. The guesthouse is located very close to the main attractions in the Myvatn area.

The house is lovely, we recommend! Not just very well equipped with anything you might need, but also spatious and really has a home feel. The hosts put so much effort into making our stay also informative and educational with the many info sheets and traditional items in the house. All the sights are super near by so we could reach the warm home quickly after windy and snowy walks :)

It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.

Splendid location!!!! Gracious host. Excellent access to the area’s attractions. Very comfortable bed!

The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.
