Un vienlaicīgi esat klusā ieliņā, kur trokšņi no blakus esošās burzmas praktiski nav dzirdami nemaz. Var gan ļoti labi dzirdēt visu, kas notiek uz pašas mazās ieliņas. Ieradāmies nakts vidū, ļoti saprotama un ērta atslēgu saņemšana. Viss bija tīrs, kārtīgs, atbilda aprakstam. Visa esošā tehnika strādāja. Sākumā bija nedaudz vēsi (jo bijām janvārī), bet, ieslēdzot sildītājus ātri iesila telpas. Ļoti laipni saimnieki- ātri atbildēja uz jautājumiem, nākamajā dienā apciemoja, parādīja, kas, kā un kur :) Uz vietas arī ir informācija par apskates objektiem, transportu, utt. Ļoti autentiska vieta, kas likās foršāk, nekā palikt tipveida viesnīcā, Protams, ka tikai uz vietas sapratām, ka ar divgadnieku būs diezgan sarežģīti, jo katra telpa atrodas citā stāvā un trepes ir daudz un visur- ne mirkli nevarēja atstāt bērnu vienu. Šo gan uztvērām absolūti pozitīvi un ar humoru, jo aprakstā un atsauksmēs tas viss ir zināms jau iepriekš, it kā lasījām, bet paši neaizdomājāmies. Tikai esot uz vietas sapratām, ka ar aktīvu, mazu bērnu būs nedaudz izaicinoši, jo katra telpa patiešām ir citā stāvā.

Three of us stayed in this huge house that sleeps up to 10 guests, and there were plenty of bathrooms for us to choose from. The host was easy to contact and met us promptly at the door, even though we arrived earlier than expected (our flight arrived early and the taxi arrived fast). There was a little confusion over the house number as all the house numbers were changed at some point, so there are two numbers on many houses. Everything was explained to us by the host on arrival and the house was as big as described, very clean, and had all the necessary amenities. It was chilly in January, but the A/C kept us warm and there were extra blankets in the cupboard. Beds were comfy. I personally prefer firm pillows, and this house has soft pillows, but there were two per guest and I slept well. The TV had Netflix and international channels. The wifi worked well. It's a little weaker on the top floor, but that wasn't an issue. The washing machine worked perfectly. We didn't use the tumble dryer but used the clothes rack instead. Due to the cold, rainy weather we didn't get to use the patio or rooftop, but the patio looked like a great space to eat outside. We asked for a cutting board for the kitchen as we couldn't find one anywhere, and the hosts brought us a new one very quickly during the same evening. The house is located on a quiet street with fast food takeaways and a 24/7 convenience store on the next street. There is also a lovely little coffee shop nearby. It's easy and safe to walk to the shopping area where the ferries are also located. Taxis arrived within 1 or 2 minutes whenever we ordered them. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this house!
