The views over the lake and the Southern Alps are breathtaking and they can be enjoyed from almost every corner of the lodge. This single storey lodge consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom with lake views from the living and deck area. The open plan lounge features modern décor, a flat screen TV, high speed internet. Double glazed doors open up from the living room to a sheltered outdoor deck where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the view during the day and star gazing at night. The high spec kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, crockery, cutlery and cookware. Washer dryer, dishwasher included. The two bedrooms feature queen sized bed with external bathroom. Ideal for couples or a family with children. All beds are almost new and excellent quality and each bedroom has its own heater. Clean sheets and towels. They have a mini petting zoo and star gazing tour near the lodge as well. Recommending to everyone to stay at least two nights

Privacy and serenity of the place is top notch. It was easy to locate and check in was swift and the host were super professional and efficient. The house layout was brilliantly for family yo gather and spend time together. The view was splendid. Although weather was not on my side during my stay but I still manage to star gaze just right out front of the property.

They have a shower, an indoor bathtub and even an outside private hot tub for stargazing at night. We tried the fire place which is quite straightforward and this gives a nice vibe of a cabin in the Forrest. They do have electric inverter so the fireplace is just a nice extra. Location wise , perfect! You can walk to the center of the town and only a Little over 1 km drive to the famous church of the good shepherd.
