The place is nestled deep in the mountains, it made our stay in Madeira very special and completely different from the last two days in Funchal. the setting is paradisiac, with a stream running right below the cosy little house. The hosts, Comandante Carlos and his wife Eleonora are amazingly sweet and welcoming, they care for everything and prepare a great homely breakfast with fresh local produce. It was an unforgettable stay!

Very nice house in the middle of nowhere :) exactly as we expected, equiped with everything, quiet, clean, close to a lot of hiking points, smooth check in with keybox, owner is reachable on whats app and very nice. there is an anona tree in the front <3 and an avocado tree in the back <3 full of fruits in december <3 WOW!

Very lovely well equipped property, the outside kitchen was a bonus. Lots of space beautiful setting. Great for a family or couple. The driveway with locked garage was great too

This house is magnificent with such a great energy. Very well equipped, have everything you need. Great garden with pool, welcome fruit basket and eggs. If we come back to Madeira Casa da Pedra will be for sure our choice.

We met with very friendly, helpful and kind people. We got useful tourist information. Our room was nice, comfortable and clean. We could choose from large variety food for a breakfast. There was no problem about packed snack when set off early on the trip. It is highly recommended for your holiday.
