The apartment is well equipped and very clean. We found everything for our stay and Rita was very kind, she welcomed us with some food for the breakfast, really appreciated. Really nice view and position. We recommend it!

The equipments are very good, we had a good time in the house. It was very clean and we could enjoy some time on the terrasse. The kitchen has everything you need and having a loundry machine was useful. The host is very welcoming even though she does not speak english. It is easy to parc the car in the street in front of the house.

Very nice area 4km from the centre of the town . The house is big ,the balcony is lovely just in front to the sea , very comfortable rooms and has everything you need for your vacation. The owner was very friendly. I strongly recommend this place.

We LOVED this apartment. It was quiet, spotlessly clean, great shower--wonderful water pressure, heating and cooling we could adjust, great internet, overlooked the marina, free parking was right outside the door. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans for cooking along with an almost full-sized fridge. It had its own heating and cooling as well as a stand-alone tall fan. We appreciated having 2 bedrooms. Although we never met the host in person, they were always reachable and helpful with the few questions we did have. The local grocery store is barely a block away (see photo). There are little coffee/pastry shops along the streets surrounding the marina, and we counted at least 3 little pubs right beside the apartment. One of the best restaurants in the area is literally just a few steps outside the front door, also overlooking the marina AND it offered a vegetarian meal! (see photos). It's about a 30 minute drive to/from the airport. Terceira is beautiful and lush, relaxing and filled with volcanic history. If you go you absolutely must book a cave tour which includes the thermal vents, inside the lava tube and inside the volcano. It's amazing!

The Fisherman's House is the perfect accommodation for Terceira. The host is very friendly and helpful. Everything is available, washing and cooking facilities, as well as a very well-kept garden with sitting area, barbecue and pool for common use. The old cottage is lovingly renovated and decorated. The creative artwork in the rooms completes the wonderful ambiance. Everything is very clean. Only rarely we heard something from the street or an animal, otherwise only quiet ocean sounds. It was very good to relax. The dog is really sweet and well behaved (she does not come into the cottage). There are also a few chickens, ducks and rabbits in an enclosure. It was also very kind that there were some delicacies from the island and something to drink when we arrived. The location is perfect, Angra is a stone's throw away and all the other sights can be reached quickly. We liked Fisherman's House and the island very much. When we come to Terceira again, we already know where to stay. Thank you very much!

Location could not have been better. Beautiful home. Just outside of Angra on the water. Quiet and peaceful after a day of white knuckle driving on the island! The owner, Maria, was absolutely lovely, as was her staff. Excellent price also. Hope to go back and stay in the spring.

Our detached villa was wonderfully open-air with a sweeping ocean view . The neighborhood is peaceful and a short drive from Angra. The grounds are attractive and well-maintained. We had complete privacy but Henry was available for any help we needed. He greeted us as 130 am in person and we found cheese , bread and jam waiting for us. The villa was a delight to wake up in and return to after a day of exploring. There was a parking spot for us as well. Listen to Henry’s recommendations! He knows all!
