Very nice and quite place in the middle of the forest. Rodolfo and family are very nice hosts, always ready to help you. Very well equipped lodge, nothing missing. Good for families, farm animals and good pool where kids will enjoy themselves. Close to nice beaches. I do recommend it.

This gem is ~midway between Zambujeira and Odeceixe, allowing us to break up this section of the hike into 2 days. The owners offered free lift to and from nearby excellent restaurants. Very comfortable, squeaky clean rooms and a high quality breakfast. Refreshing salt water pool as well as easy walk to the beach.

Nice little terrace area in front, too, with tables and deck chairs from which to watch the sunset. I had such a restful night there, really wished I had booked for a bit longer. Lucie and her dogs are very special, too. She's a really interesting person to talk to, and it was lovely to be invited to join them for their evening walk.

There had been a fire within the past year and it came very near to this property. The area is growing back. I am sure it is absolutely beautiful when lush green. The goats were awesome and the cabin has everything you need!

Bed was very comfy and we had a doublesided fireplace which we enjoyed very much. The kitchen had everything you need, including a toaster and a dishwasher. Communication with Carla was very cordial and helpful. And the homemade bread and pumpkin jam were delicious. You have to have a car to get to restaurants, supermarkets and beaches, but the tranquility is exactly what we wanted. Couldn't recommend the place enough.
