Built in 1750, the Ofenhaus was originally used for baking bread and is situated next to the owner's farm house 1 km from the centre of Murten. We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

Objekat Romantic Châlet with TOP Panorama je smešten u gradu Châtillon i nudi terasu. Our very comfortable little chalet looked out over beautiful Lake Neuchatel. The patio was large and well furnished, so we sat outside with our drinks watching the boats sailing on the lake. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a nice stay. Restaurants, groceries, and bakeries were just a short drive into the beautiful old town. Our hosts were kind and extremely gracious. We would be very happy to stay again!

This is a very, very cozy place with the “like at home” vibe. Dana and Viktor are the beautiful hosts you can only wish for. And the breakfast exceeded all the expectations!

We had a superb stay and loved everything. Warm welcome beautiful accommodation, perfect location. We were sorry to leave.
