Situated in Stresa, 5.3 km from Borromean Islands, Nel giardino di Dafne features accommodation with a garden and free private parking. Wonderful stay. Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

We really felt like at home. The private beach is quiet and beatiful, a perfect place to relax. We really enjoyed the nature aroud the house and the green view. At night we could hear birds from the forest when we opened the door. We would definitely stay again at this wonderful quiet place! Thank you again for everything!

I slept very well here and didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. Lovely, modern room, really yummy, locally sourced products for breakfast, location was very peaceful - we were just happy to sit in the garden and read, surrounded by the forest. Francesca is very friendly and has a very interesting other business. You need your own transport to get here really - around a 7 min drive into Arona but we did find pretty easily free parking in the centre. 3 nights we stayed and 3 nights we ate very well in Arona at Anticogallo, Contatto and La Ruga del corso. Definitely take the boat to Stresa - finding a parking was a nightmare!
