The room has the biggest bed I've ever seen! Room very clean and spacious. Very good water pressure in the shower:) Beautiful view and cool swimig pool. The staff just amazing! Very high standard (I didn't meet in Sri Lanka yet) Profesional and clean SPA - I highly recommend (40usd/1h) Best breakfast (including nice buns and waffles) and proper coffe! There is sauna and nice playing room with a stoning view. Close to Damro tea factory. Really 10/10 !

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Shirin1892 is a country house situated in a historic building in Nuwara Eliya, 1.7 km from Gregory Lake. This is a beautiful homestay run by Asela and his wife who cooks delicious breakfast for their guests. They provided us everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their rooms are very big. Weather was cold and it was so nice of them to give us hot drinking water , lit up the fire place at night. They gave us a packed breakfast for our Horton Plains Tour. To get a colonial feel you must stay in this property located just opposite to Race course. They also gave us wide varieties of food items in dinner which was made up of their own grown plants. Completely organic. With their deep knowledge about tea , they helped us buying the best tea in Nuwara Eliya . They gave us a big breakfast spread which had both Sri Lankan and Western food items. They gave us pick and drop for the railway station too. They arranged Nuwara Eliya sightseeing tour for us. They have all the amenities and facilities needed for a wonderful stay.

This place is a gem 💎!!! Happy and satisfied is the least i can say about this fancy place! If you love cleanliness ( which sadly not as common in Sri Lanka in hotels ) and like to enjoy a place free of germs, spots, mold or any dirty bathrooms, then this is the place! I honestly found it cleaner than some 5 starts hotels in Colombo so not sure why it is rated 3 stars only. The actual rooms look more beautiful than the images showing. Everything is wood and stone. Fancy romantic lightings, super duper comfortable beds! ( omg better than what i have at home 🤪) Coming to the hotel was a bit of a challenge because the city doesn't take care of any sub roads sadly. Yet the road to this location is not bad at all compared to many other sub roads! My car had low bumper yet didn't have difficulty dealing with the road. However, my car stopped 500 meters before the hotel and would not move forward on a medium steep hill . . Had to ask my 3 family members to come down for me to continue and the then the owner was super kind, upon knowing, to rush down with his car and get my family up to the hotel. Then had issues with booking where i mistakenly booked 1 guest instead of 2 for each room ( was weird on booking.com). owner was more than courteous to honor the mistake making an exception and giving me the rooms for the same booking price! Our deluxe room had its own sink and water kettle. Also rooms have fast heaters if you get cold ( like my wife). The staff helped us with the luggage and welcomed us with tea. The view from this place is just magical! Tea estates, veges feilds, fog, hills, big trees and mountains. Also, you can see very closely the highest point in Sri Lanka. I am definitely coming back next year

Located within 5.1 km of Gregory Lake and 12 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Nuwara Eliya, Lily Bank Cottage features accommodation with seating area. We loved everything about this place. The rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable, food was great and beatiful bathroom so far our favorite place we stated in Sri Lanka. People who run this place were always making sure everyone was comfortable, had what needed and were happy. Loved our three nights stay here and would definitely return. We got tea and cookies on arrival which was very kind. Thank you ! Highly recommend it!

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. We only stayed one day at Tea Hills , we came from Kandy by train, the hotel offered to pick us up which we really appreciated , as we where a bit later we didn’t want to go into the city so we asked the property if we could have dinner their which they provided , the rooms are large and very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly, we had coconut rotti for breakfast which was very enjoyable
