This villa is the best i had in Sri Lanka, whether it is the architectural design of the wooden cabin or the warm furnishings inside, it made me feel like home in the somewhat cool mountains. Also the food presentation is very well designed, especially it's for free.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Shirin1892 is a country house situated in a historic building in Nuwara Eliya, 1.7 km from Gregory Lake. Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Offering free bikes and garden view, Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya is located in Nuwara Eliya, 6.7 km from Gregory Lake and 14 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Everthing is perfect, it's the best hotel we live for this trip in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend this place. The bed is comfortable and the food is so good. We enjoyed the English traditional dinner a lot.

Conveniently situated in Nuwara Eliya, La Grande Villa provides express check-in and check-out and free private parking. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have seen. The bathroom and the outdoor patio were spectacular too. Overall, really enjoyed the quiet and calm. The bed was very comfortable.

Located within 5.1 km of Gregory Lake and 12 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Nuwara Eliya, Lily Bank Cottage features accommodation with seating area. We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner is so so kind and helpful. Did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible, gave us good advice and arranged Tuk tuks And excursions for us. The food he makes here is absolutely outstanding. It was so good we ended up eating here every night. It was so romantic. Candle light dinner every night was so romantic. The shower here is incredible. Rainfall shower really well built. I highly recommend.

Just had the most incredible stay in Kent cottages The staff at Kent went above and beyond to make my family's experience unforgettable. Huge shoutout to the wonderful manager Nalaka. and all the staff for their amazing service! 🙌 The uncle chef treated us to delicious Sri Lankan cuisine that was out of this world! 😋 The cleanliness, location, and design of the place were simply mind-blowing; we truly felt like we were in London!

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. Very comfortable beds(best we have had so far in Sri Lanka!), very clean. Lovely place and lovely views from the place. Accomodation was a 5 minute tuktuk or 20 min walk to most places which was ideal! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Would stay again!

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. I had a phenomenal time at the Tea Hills Bungalow. The management was very kind and helped arrange transportation to and from the train station. The room was just lovely and had an excellent view of the surrounding tea estates. The cooking in the restaurant The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were incredibly delicious. The staff was very accommodating to my requests even beyond normal breakfast or dinner hours. The hotel management helped arrange for me to get to all of the places I wanted to visit including climbing Adam's Peak, seeing Castlereigh Reservoir, Devon, and St. Clair waterfalls. I especially thought Luxman was not only an excellent driver but gave excellent advice about the area and just went out of the way to be a warm and exceptionally kind host (with excellent jokes)! I highly recommend this place and hope to return here again.
