Situated in Sinspelt in the Rhineland-Palatinate region, Ferienhaus Steins has a terrace. It was just perfect! The house was very clean and tidy, and has anything you need for a few days abroad. Also the complementaty bottle of local wine was a nice touch :-p The house itself is on a great location as well. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and nice villages in the neighbourhood.

It was a lovely house, traditional but modernised with all the facilities you need and a very good attic space with a bath tub and fitness equipment that we all loved! The host was great, very responsive and accommodating. The place is comfy, stylish and clean, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills (we even did a hike through the fields and forest by literally stepping outside the door), and the garden is beautiful in late spring. Dog friendly very literally, more than just "dogs allowed" :) We really had everything we needed for a good holiday.

Close to the river and several hiking trails. We walked to the nearby town of Vianden and visited the castle, and we also walked across the nearby bridge to Germany and hiked to a castle on that side of the river. It was beautiful and peaceful!
