The place was immaculately clean. Beds had more than enough linens to please any sleeper. Nice fluffy towels. Convenient location. Can walk the few blocks to town.The shower had great pressure and lots of hot water.

This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

Was a flying stay.. arrived late .. left early. But the place is excellent. Very clean and all round good quality.

Our unit was super clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. We liked the option of being able to take our dog, we decided not to this time though. Was thoughtful to have some drinks, chocolates, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival as well as some fresh eggs in the fridge. Having the use of the free washing machine and drier was fab.

Tracey and Colin are superb hosts, made us feel right at home, giving us useful tips on things to do and see. Wonderful to interact with their resident pets - dogs, chickens and horses. Highly recommended!!
