Is a hidden gem of a city great location if you are flying from Asturias but a great town to visit with beautiful historic centre and a great arts centre and cultural life. Loads of great bars and restaurants, what's not to like ?(the car park in Plaza de Espana which even by Spanish standards is really really scary)
A fabulous little hotel in the heart of the Old Town - literally 5 minutes walk in every direction to just about everything! The staff were lovely, the room was warm, and our minibar was nice and cold.. perfect for storing a can of beer or pop!
We particularly liked Bar Monterrey for breakfast, just a few doors down, but the whole area was fabulous. Sadly we arrived on Saturday lunchtime and a lot of the shops were then closed for the weekend, but they looked interesting and well priced.
Would definitely stay again!
was worried about car parking here but was very easy to find car park and then a 5 minute walk to hotel. despite language problems the staff all helped to make check-in very easy. The staff were so friendly and with help of maps and pens made our short visit to Aviles a great experience. Hotel was very clean with nice airy rooms. The breakfast was very nice with good quality produce.
Henrique the host couldn't have been more helpful. We had a lovely welcome pack including a delicious cake. The place was warm, very clean and the communication before we arrived was excellent. He organised a taxi from the airport and gave us many recommendations while we were there. We could walk down the hill into Aviles or jump in a taxi for 5 euros if we wanted to.
My stay in Apartamentos Entrepalacios was wonderful. Alba, the host, was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. She showed me around Aviles and made sure that I had everything I needed. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped. The location was excellent. I highly recommend Apartamentos Entrepalacios and would absolutely stay here again!
The location was perfect for us, turning off from the Camino Norte and cutting south toward Primitivo while avoiding the urban corridor west of Aviles. Javi was very friendly at the reception. A sumptuous parilla restaurant is just across the street, exactly what we needed after 25km of walking.
