I’ve always enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Bubbles and this time was no different. The food was good and a great variety. The location of the Vivanta is so central and easy to access. I always enjoy my stay there especially my room as I got an upgrade to the beautiful sunset view sea facing room. Unfortunately the weather was quite a dampner and I caught only a very watery sunset on one day as the other days the horizon was filled with ominous rain clouds.

Hot in April. Never been in such a hot, humid place.
Hot in April. Never been in such a hot, humid place. Would go outside, do whatever I went out to do then back inside to lie under the fan. Heat rash turned to bumps and cuts. Light, cotton kurta would be wet by the time I returned.
Ayurvedic massage, a coffee shop, walk to the beach, buy clothes. There are things to do if you look. In an ancient spice trading Capitol, breakfast was varied, then it was too hot to eat.

A very classy nice restaurant.
A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you.
I took at first a tartare, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of the local red wine. Somewhat surprising, it does not taste like anything I have already drunk, but I kinda liked it.
Then I took a marbled steak with homemade French fries and homemade ketchup (!). No word to say that it was awesome.
The service always with a smile and very patient with us.

My recent visit to Cochin, Kerala was nothing short of...
My recent visit to Cochin, Kerala was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and charm of this historic city.
Exploring the streets of Fort Kochi was like stepping back in time, with its colonial architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant culture. The Chinese fishing nets along the waterfront were a sight to behold, especially during sunset when the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. The intricate artwork and historical artifacts inside were truly impressive, offering a glimpse into Kerala's rich heritage.
I also had the pleasure of indulging in some of the most delicious seafood dishes I've ever tasted. Whether it was fresh fish curry at a local eatery or a traditional Kerala thali at a family-run restaurant, each meal was a culinary delight.
The warmth and hospitality of the people of Cochin further enhanced my experience. From the friendly smiles of shopkeepers to the helpful advice of locals, I felt welcomed and at home throughout my stay.
Overall, my time in Cochin, Kerala was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty, culture, and flavors of southern India.

Beautiful mix of heritage, historical and modernised places...
Beautiful mix of heritage, historical and modernised places all around. At least a 3 day trip to experience all faces of city and satisfy your taste buds.
Great for people looking to experience beach life, back waters and some good resorts and food.
Only thing to be considered is the weather while travelling and trip to pre planned.
Sadly, we didn't use the pool. Breakfast was adequate and rooms were clean. Good advice from the manager who directed us to a very local eaterie around the corner with delicious food (very much frequented by the locals). This is definitely inner city - it's smoky, it's dusty and noisy - just like an Indian city should be! However, if you're looking for a beer, you need to go to one of the more international hotel bars as there don't appear to be any other bars or wine shops close by (Cochin appears to be a drier state).
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Rossitta Wood Castle in Cochin, and we couldn't be more delighted with our experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding to the hotel's old-world charm. Rossitta Wood Castle offers warm hospitality, historic allure, a prime location, and an outstanding dining option. Even if you're not a guest, it's worth a visit. The food was delicious, and dining in such a serene setting was a memorable experience.
Excellent reception, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Gave good recommendations for eating and visiting attractions. Room was large, cool in the heat. Pool was large.
Not at all far from all tourist attractions, easy stroll.
We are frequent visitors to Fort Cochin for work, and have stayed in many of the hotels, expensive and cheap, at different times. This is the best value for money and in the circumstances it did everything we wanted it to.
Best budget hotel. Nice location. Normal tea snacks were available from adjoining Karthika hotel on call by phone in room. Otherwise best veg/ nonveg restaurant were available at walking distance on MG road. Drinking water facility available at all floors. Auto through Uber available from Ernaculam junction in 60 to 70 rupees.Stayed 21st and 22nd January 2024 in AC room.

This remains a very nice address to spend your stay in Cochin
One of the best hotel In Kochi with good ambience.
Staffs are professional and welcoming. Location is very easy to access from Cochin international airport, Ernakulam South Railway station, and very close to kochi metro and bus station. And there is a central square Mall at walkable distance for shopping. Value for money hotel.
Excellent staff. Well trained and helpful.
The room was clean and the food was delicious.
This is located in a quiet and tranquil part of Cochin, which I liked and preferred.
The property is dated but I liked the old establishment vibe of the hotel.
Will visit again!
Good location n free pick up from airport. Aircon works perfectly. Clean room. No toilet paper in room but you can ask for it. Delicious typical Indian breakfast chosen from a simple menu served in room. Convenient for those looking for short stay near airport.
I have been using this hotel for the past 12 years or so . Every time I go to Cochin l stay there . Rooms and stay and food are very good . Staff are very friendly and helpful. But needs provision for drivers bath and toilets . Also need car parking
great price and great room. best shower I’ve had in India here! nice beds. balcony. room service. nice and modern hotel. would stay again. 2 minute walk to metro also so easy to get around. food at hotel was really nice too.
With frequent stay person in different hotels from 5 star hotel to 4 star hotels in kochi and bangalore whenever we have come from united arab emirates, this hotel stay was the most disappointing and not worth spent money.
This is the best place for stay of you are with limited budgets and very easily accessible. You want to stay a night in an AC room with no hassles this is the place... Booking.com has the best deal i guess.
One of the best 5 Start hotels in Kochi indeed! The whole place was very picturesque. Special thanks to Meghna from the front office who went that extra mile to make out stay absolutely fantastic!
This is the perfect place for a quick visit in Cochin! The room, the location, the host, everything was beyond my expectations and I highly highly recommend staying in this place!!
Probably the cleanest hotel in India. Everything is exactly as you see in the booking.com pics.
Thoroughly recommend and a 3-500 rupee ride from Fort Kochin.
