La Locanda Del Fiordo, hotel in Furore

Offering beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea from its panoramic terrace with hot tub, Locanda Del Fiordo is perched on a rock in Furor, on the Amalfi coast. Wi-Fi and parking are free.

Spectacular property with central location in the middle of all attractions making them walking distance. On the main road between Positano and Amalfi making it very conveniently located, offering parking which was priceless. Very clean, modern, original, carved in the stone and steps all way to the water, pool, terraces, spectacular views from the room or the meals terraces. Great management with the very helpful 3 Lugies helping with advice, hands on helping with luggage and every accommodation, even playing with our 6 years old surprised her Mario game came to life with Luigi and another Luigi that called himself Mario for the fun of it. 😀 I do recommend to anyone who wants an unforgettable experience on Amalfi Coast. Very lucky we found the place and stayed there. Thank you Luigis!😀

Domus Caterina offers accommodations in Furore, one mile from Fjord of Furor Beach and 6.4 miles from Amalfi Cathedral. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

The location was near Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and Sorento as well. The apartment was very well maintained by the hosts, clean and beautifully designed with many fine details. Many thanks to Pietro who was extremely helpful besides speaking only Italian. You can use public Bus route 5080 Naples-Agerola-Amalfi, but check first for the schedule. Quiet little town just 20 minutes by car from Amalfi.

Quiet little town just 20 minutes by car from Amalfi. Close enough to Fiordo Di Furore that you can walk from there, although it can be a thought walk depending on where you start from, especially on the way back up.

We liked the location, as we had our own transport and could drive to other areas with beaches and shopping, it was so nice to come back to Furore which is perfect authentic Amalfi Coast Italy as the location is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and relaxing. Could have stayed a little longer.

This is in a great location.

This is in a great location. It was more busy than I expected and driving around is tricky with the windy narrow roads. You will need to be brave to go out driving Olin the dark to get to restaurants at night. The walk down the Fjord 600 steps is a great exercise for anyone

The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic.

The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic. We reached it by climbing down about 800 steps on the first day which was quite an amusing adventure. Second day we went by bus to save our leg muscles ! The beach was so enjoyable with panoramic scenes of the bridge on top and the mountain in the back. The water was so fresh and the beach boy provided comfortable chaise-long and drinks. At night we had a delicious dinner at Fico D'India restaurant on top of the mountain, quire stylish with a great view of the sea during the day time.

    Furore has beautiful views.

Furore has beautiful views. The location is about 400 meters above sea. There is not alot of activities so u must take the bus train or ferry. If you like more night life and activities then I would stay in one of the bigger towns like Almafi, Positano or Sorrento but if you like the peace and quiet and don't mind a little extra travel. This is good because keep in mind the bigger towns will be more expensive.

The location is simply amazing. From the road it looks just like a small restaurant but there is a whole hotel built on the mountain. Try to travel with small suitcases as there is no elevator and a lot of steps. Not very suitable for people who strugle with going up and down stairs. If the see is stormy you won't be able to swim because the entrance to the water is carved in the rocks and it could be dangerous. The owners and people who work there are wonderful, trying to do everything they can to make guests feel comfortable.

The room had a beautiful sea view. It was clean and stylish. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late and he gave us the dishes to make dinner. We got there by scooter and there is secure parking for car and motorbike. Very tasty and fresh breakfast which we ate on the terrace also with a beautiful view of the sea. The neighborhood is quiet. I highly recommend this hotel for a one or a few night stay.

Fantastic accommodations at a good value. The hotel staff were some of the nicest people we’ve met on our trip, and they went above and beyond to make our experience great. The rooms are nice and have everything needed, including air conditioning. the restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced. It is also conveniently located between the other major towns in the area. Very pretty views and it is a great place to relax.

Everything was perfect, the location was so nice. The decoration so typical and cute. Nicoletta and her mother Sarah was so kind. When we arrived we were so happy to find some aperitifs cake and Spritz on the fridge and Sarah’s torta caprese was so good. We had a real crush on this location. You can go directly by a really pleasant walk to Fiordo si Furore. And the view of the appartement was fabulous!

The location of the apartment is absolutely stunning. High above the Amalfi coast it has a fantastic view over the Gulf of Salerno. The house is off the main road and therefore quiet. The apartment seems recently renovated and it was very clean - very comfortable and homely for a small family like us. The hosts - Maria and Guiseppe were warm and welcoming, and made our stay in Furore unforgettable.

Pino was so friendly and welcoming and went to extra effort to help us out however he could. The hotel is amazing, very comfortable, good size rooms with an amazing view over the fiordo valley, and great Mediterranean touches, like grape vines on the pergolas and lemon and olive trees in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and easily as good as anywhere else in the area.

The location was amazing, up in the hills in Furore, with a fantastic view from the rooms and the balconies. Having breakfast in the morning on your own veranda overlooking the sea was truly breathtaking. Andrea and Carmen make you feel very much at home and do anything to help you during your stay. The bed was comfy and it’s very quiet and far away from all the traffic on the Amalfitana.

We loved this hotel! Great view and loved the terrace with the spa. The spa never heated up but still lovely to sit up there. We also had a private balcony. The breakfast pastries were way too good- we ate them all. They have a restaurant on the property and it was fantastic for dinner. Now one of my favorites in Southern Italy!

You can understand things pretty easily and learn some italian at the same time :D For the most difficult sentences we used google translate.
