I love the jacuzzi hot tub and the view! The relaxing areas on the stairways are so soothing and inviting. Great breakfast views on the 4th floor and staff’s were awesome and accommodating to our needs.

Avila La Fonda is a true gem on the West Coast. From the moment we arrived to the moment we reluctantly checked out, we were enveloped in a haven of comfort and warm hospitality. The accommodations at Avila La Fonda were fabulous. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the complimentary wine and delicious homemade pie created an inviting and cozy atmosphere that made it difficult to leave. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway. The location was two short blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The most unique aspect of the hotel was the hospitality. The staff serves freshly baked croissants and coffee in the morning, an afternoon snack, then wine and appetizers, then pie and ice cream after dinner. All the treats were wonderful. Breakfast was not included but they gave us one little basic breakfast basket anyways. So, it’s sweet when you see a business that’s not all about money! This is one is really an exception!
