The time spent was on the opening shoulder season. The price was awesome and the staff as well. If you want a 100% of all the facilities just wait a few weeks and you will have some great extras. Perfect distance from Bar Habor as you are in your own small hamlet

Lovely coastal town free of chain restaurants!!
Lovely coastal town free of chain restaurants!! All the shops and restaurants seemed locally owned and unique to the area. We enjoyed lots of seafood like fresh lobster, clam chowder and lobster bisque. Be sure to walk the coastal path and take a harbor cruise! We loved flying Cape Air from Boston to Bar Harbor to see the coast and islands--just be sure to pick up your luggage in Boston and bring it to the Cape Air terminal! Restaurants we liked-- Geddy's, Ben & Bills Chocolate Emporium for ice cream/gelato/fudge, Stewman's, Bar Harbor Lobster Pound --they had outdoor games, too! Of course, don't miss Acadia National Park and Abel's Lobster right by the yacht yard--great outdoor ambiance!!

We enjoyed sunrises at Cadillac Mountain, crossing the bar at low tide, hiking the Beehive, the Bubbles, and Acadia Mountain, and walking on a small portion of the carriage roads. Bar Harbor had great food, but it was tough to get into the restaurants. Our favorite was the Side Street Cafe. We went in late October. Pros - lower crowds. Con - water activities and some restaurants were already closed for the season.SarahUnited States - 10Scored 10

I can't wait to go back! Bar Harbor is a beautiful town that's extremely close to Acadia National Park. It's the perfect place to return to after a long hike. The locals are friendly and the food is delicious. The views are phenomenal.

Check in was fast and straightforward and I felt very comfortable with their level of Covid precautions. I appreciated their customer service checking on our stay during our time there. Acadia National Park is a short, simple drive from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom large and with plenty of storage space. The included continental breakfast is adequate.

Very accessible to the park and downtown. The Inn is well maintained,staff are courteous and the breakfast is good..nothing extraordinary but decent and served hot.I love that the protocols for Covid prevention are being followed. Plus is the pool which my kids loved! For sure we will be back as we love Bar Harbor and will be staying at this Inn again.

We sat outside in November just to enjoy the ocean. The continental breakfast is an actual menu of fancy omlette's, breakfast sandwiches etc. The food was delicious and the bistro meal was super high end.
