Lake George is very pretty and there is much to do.
Lake George is very pretty and there is much to do. Very popular and something for everyone. Many places to eat which we enjoyed very much (i.e. The Boardwalk and The Lagoon.). The kids went parasailing for the first time.. Lots of ice cream shops. Friendly people. Memorial Day weekend weather was perfect for us.

Lake George is truly beautiful we drove around it and enjoyed the forests and small scenic villages. We did not like the Village of Lake George which is fast becoming a tacky beach town with countless tee shirt shops and noisy restaurants. The highlight of our trip was visiting Sagamore Resort, reflecting the early days on the lake.

Lake George is nice on and off season.
Lake George is nice on and off season. During off seasons it may be a bit harder to entertain the kids. After memorial day everything opens for fun from the little smaller arcades and rides to the beaches and Six flags/Water Park. The water park indoors at 6 flags is open off seaso . On season and off season usually are on the higher side of pricing. Very clean area, beautiful scenery with plenty to do and see so the money is worth it. If you're a fan of hot dogs, street corn and tacos with a nice cold lemonade (680 flavor options i believe) Check out the lemonade stand a few buildings over from the fort! would love to camp or rent a cabin for the fourth but could only imagine the demand!

Do not go before Month of May, since the ferry-cruise not in operation...so, not much activities. Yet it is a wonderfull view and aerea to visit.
It is full of restaurants...though we used also Walmart food since located very close the facilities.
From Hig-Way 87, very easy geting in town.

Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit.
Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit. There are lots of stores and restaurants to choose from, you will not be disappointed! Your right near the Great Escape Amusement Park which open until the end of the evening then closed for the winter months. There are plenty of stores, shops and sites to see and trails to walk, you will never be bored nor would your children if you are bring them along with you.

The area was beautiful we were only there for three days and we should have booked a week. Our next visit is going to be a week. The lake is gorgeous and there are so many activities in the area. It was clean and safe.
The view was fantastic from our lake view room. The staff was nice. The rooms were very clean. The beds and sheets were comfortable. The pool was clean and heated. Kyacks easily accessible with staff. Lots of places you could sit, relax, or eat with the lake view. Added touch that you could use the grills and fire pits and there were nightly movies by the pool. Motel was right on the strip, walking distance to restaurants, attractions, and stores. Overall a great place to stay in lake George and would definitely come back.
Amazing location. Right on Lake George. Great bar at the pool where you can get drinks, food, etc. Very family friendly. Seating and bar service available. Small beach on the lake wirh free paddleboats, kayaks, etc to use. Staff to help you on the beachfront. Great service during breakfast. Buffett was ok. Rooms were very clean and modern. Underground parking lot if the above lot is full. Lunch and dinner food options were really good quality not typical hotel food. Servers and bartenders were great. Very friendly.
Loved the comfort of bed, room was quiet even though it was close to Rte9, still got great sleep, conveniently located to main street( I could’ve walked ) with action , had morning coffee watching Lake George, loved having the microwave( heated dinner then enjoyed with chilled wine by the pool.and best of all,Maryellen was a wonderful host! Kayaks were the best surprise- so relaxing to be right on Lake George!!
A rocky start as employees had my name booked wrong and told me I had no accommodations reserved. It was resolved after I had to prove my reservation. It was all ok after that. We love this hotel. We bring our grandchildren every year. I think we may even book our vacation there next July (just the two of us) instead of the Courtyard Marriott. Very relaxing, great location and fun for everyone.
The pool was immaculate, the spaces created outside for relaxing were beautiful (cafe lights, cornhole, grills, fire pits). We got a suite so that we could have a kitchenette and that was definitely worth paying extra for! Not a bad walk into Lake George downtown area! In the suite there are a lot of homey touches and nice decor that made it feel welcoming and less institutional like other hotels.
It was a short stint from the Main st. in Lake George, easy to get to nice restaurants, arcades, the outlets and the beach.
The room was comfy and clean, and included a fridge which was great for the leftovers we had from our dinner.
The indoor pool was quiet, clean and at a comfortable temperature. Sadly didn't get the opportunity to use the outdoor pool or jacuzzi due to the rain.
First and on the top our host are great both husband and wife realy nice and rooms and beds are excellent 👌 highly recommended this place for fun because this location is very close for beatyfull visiting 👉 points soooo make plan to visit lake george and stay in barberry court and and and enjoy the pool swimming 🏊♂️ too they have very clean pool
Excellent location to downtown lake George. Very friendly staff. But the price beat everything else in town. A great motel. Not a luxury hotel. Best views are from the third floor facing the lake. Front desk was very accommodative to let me use internet and print documents.
Location can't be better! Love being right on the lake. The outdoor area of the hotel is perfect and in very walking distance to everything in Lake George. Staff was so helpful! Even blew up the large rafts that we brought with us. We really appreciated that!
The hotel was conveniently located to the center of the village area. Their was a clear view of the lake and the other shore to view the changing leaves. Outdoor seating in front of our room was nice to sit outside and view the surrounding area.
Location was very convenient to Lake George, Glens Falls downtown, restaurant, and shopping. Very pleasant pool area with tables. Nice to have access to coffee and tea throughout the day but was cold depending upon the time of day
Breakfast was good. I like my coffee strong, the coffee here was not up to my standards but was still good.
Overall great hotel.
Marijuana smokers on my floor, could smell it in my room. Not the fault of hotel tho !
Affordable and excellent location to explore Lake George. Helpful staff, and we enjoyed the view of the lake & fireworks from the balcony. Room & bed were were clean & comfortable.
The location is great. There is a restaurant next door that we walked to. This hotel is excellent value for the money. The bed was comfortable and I’m picky!
The breakfast at BW was great and the woman in charge was very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel was close to all we wished to see and do in Lake George.
