Breakfast was good but could've used COLD yogurt. The yogurt was warm the day I decided to try it...no ice...plus no plain yogurt option but there were plenty of other options to choose from. The eggs were nice. The fruit was ripe and fresh!

Pros- Beautiful, historical, lots of stuff to do, lots of attractions. There is a fun "downtown" area full of bars and restaurants. There is a new casino too. Everything is within walking distance and if it's not, there were lots of Uber and lyfts.
Cons- Lots of homeless people living on the streets and sleeping in tents.

Super cute and welcoming city.
Super cute and welcoming city. I had the good fortune to meet a new friend who essentially played historian and tour guide during my stay. The food was good, the people were friendly, and I would’ve liked a few more days.

I love Louisville…. Have great friends there. Spent NYE watching Marr Rife at the Louisville Palace which was a blast. Did not like our stay though. It wasn’t the worst by far but from its rating I expected more/better.

We grabbed a drink on Whiskey Row.
We grabbed a drink on Whiskey Row. Great view of the street from an open balcony at Number 15. We had dinner at La Bodeguita De Mima Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. I highly recommend. Then we shopped at the Red Door just 2 doors down from the restaurant. We went to a show at the Palace Theatre. This place is beautiful. Our hotel offered a shuttle so we didn't have to find parking at the restaurant or down town. Our hotel was just a short walk to the Palace.
beautiful, comfortable, quiet room with a lovely view of the Ohio River, plush bed and pillows, helpful staff and incredible onsite restaurants - bourbon is spectacular, if you enjoy a finger or two of fine bourbon. Highly recommend for families & romantic getaways. Louisville Slugger nearby for classic baseball bats & several distilleries to tour. Hotel has a covered walkway to KFC Yum! center (if you're big on KFC). Dined at Swizzle & LOVED the food & service. Just a lovely hotel!
We really enjoyed the complementary free drinks during happy hour. The breakfast was exceptional. The food was really good, and the hotel offered a large variety of food to choose from. The room was listed as a king suite, and it was plenty enough room to move around in. It had a large walk-in bathroom, closets, and living area. This hotel did not disappoint, and we have stayed there twice now while visiting Louisville. Great hotel and great location to 4th St live.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, it's grand but it feels homey and comfortable. I'm not used to Louisville so having a valet was icing on the cake The rooms were spacious, beds were so soft. Everything was super clean. My friends and I had a great time. It was super close to the concert venue we were going to & close to a lot of other things in Louisville. If I go to Louisville again, the Seelbach is where I'll stay.
Very nice hotel in a great location! Our king suite was fabulously large & comfy, the hotel dinner & drinks were absolutely wonderful (vouchers at front desk, included in your stay , as well as breakfast). Only stayed one night but they let us check out late since we were running late the next day. Extremely satisfied. Will definitely stay here again when working the Louisville games.
The bed was very comfortable although the pillows were too light and we had to get extras plus we brought a couple of our own as well. The room was spacious and so nice. It’s unique to other hotels/suites and we have decided that this hotel is in our top 3 for future stays. We love the location of it too. It’s located within 10-20 minutes of everything we like to do in Louisville.
First trip to Louisville for a concert at the Palace. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re seeing a show at that venue or just looking for a nice stay. Beautiful, historic hotel with wonderful staff. Good location. Loved the ability to view the city from the rooftop. Restaurant & lounge were amazing. Even if you don’t stay here, you should eat here!
The staff was very friendly...the rooms were comfortable & clean. Breakfast was very good (except the coffee!). The hotel was in a very nice neighborhood. We will stay here again when we are in Louisville!
just staied one night on transit for business reason, hotel structure quite dated and big building but room very big, location on river very nice and few minutes walk from restaurants area.
Great location - right by the river and very convenient walk to many restaurants and venues in the area. The hotel itself had a nice bar, taco restaurant, and nice gym.
The location of the hotel was easy to get to from Cincinnati and coming back from downtown Louisville. There were restaurants and entertainment nearby.
