The hotel is quiet, the room was incredible and clean and everything was thought of. the beds were so comfortable. the balcony was incredible to sit on. Breakfast is great, dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious. I just loved this hotel and can't wait to return.

There’s a nice breakfast in the morning, the only thing is that I would like to have as option some vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers for breakfast. Everything was great, recommend this place 😊

This beautiful, renovated and modern hotel is located in the town centre, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. If it depended on me I would classify it as a 4 star! Very satisfied with everything, especially the room!

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. I love this hotel. I've stayed twice, once as a solo traveler and once with my sister, visiting me from the USA. The hotel is in an amazing location, with the waterfront on one side and a shortcut to the train station on the other. Restaurants, coffee shops and gelato are just next door. The rooms are minimalist. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, and I love that cappuccino, hot chocolate and vending machines are available at all times on the second floor. The staff was fantastic, each time.

Hotel la Palma au Lac is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. the location was great, and the staff were very friendly

Completely renovated in 2012 and 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto occupies a 19th-century villa in a central location opposite the Locarno Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Piazza Grande, and offers you... This has been the nicest all round property we have stayed at in this price range on the forth week of a five week Switzerland trip. High points are the beauty and spaciousness of the hotel itself, a large well equipped modern bathroom, a larger than normal bedroom, thoughtful mirror/hangers etc. Bonus points, it’s right across from the rail and bus station but quiet! Coffee & tea 24/7 plus breakfast in a very nice setting! The staff has also be most accommodating. We arrived early and were worked in seamlessly and given great tips on what to see and how to get there.
