I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem nestled within the historic Old City of Cartagena, Colombia, and I can't praise it enough. This hotel effortlessly combines a great location with impeccable charm, cleanliness, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.

The hotel has a great location, you can walk from there to the city centre and everything you need. View from the rooftop is very nice. The room was quite quiet and very clean. Smart room was a little bit hard to handle, but once we figured it out it worked quite well. Breakfast was exceptional and felt very exquisite. Staff was very friendly. Also the small pool is very nice, overall an exceptional hotel where you feel very at home and cosy.

Amarla Boutique Hotel Cartagena features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Cartagena de Indias. The Amarla is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the walled city. It was so lovely and charming. We stayed in the suite with 2 rooms and a library which was fabulous with a balcony. The rooftop pool was small but perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoon. We had it to ourselves. The staff were amazing.

Casa La Cartujita is a fantastic resort that I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Cartagena. It is in an excellent location - a quieter spot in the city and the facilities, staff and comfort here were excellent. Whilst I was travelling with friends, I stayed alone in this resort and I couldn't have felt safer. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was some of the best food I've had in Colombia and the room/bed was beautiful and very comfortable. The rooftop jacuzzi was also a highlight!

Located in the heart of Cartagena’s walled city, this modern hotel is a 16th century remodelled building and features a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and shared lounge. The staff is really great and helpful all the time. Very clean and everything is high quality. Breakfast was very good. The pool area is very cool, a bit limited in terms of space but it’s nice. The location is not bad, walled city is small and easy to walk everywhere. Around there are nice restaurants.

Staff is always attentive to all of your needs/ requests. The rooms get cleaned on the daily. Pool was small but never full. Ample space around the pool with additional seating area. Common floor with couches and small terraces was amazing.
