The hotel feels and looks new. It has a nice design and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is pretty good and the food options in the evening are good and affordable. The area around the train station is a bit dodgy, but it's safe. There are a few nice bars next to it which are a good options for evening drinks. Parking was full when we arrived, but we found options on the street.

Really nice hotel and great location close to U bahn and S bahn (15min to airport). Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Delicious breakfast, nice restaurants around as well as Rewe, Rossmann, pharmacy. It was my second time in Intercity (first time was in Dresden) and for sure I can recommend it!

Studio Feuerfest ligger i Hamburg, 5,2 km från Alster-sjön, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. It was really close to the Barmbek station and very safe to walk to, the self check-in was really easy. I didn’t use any of the common facilities, but the room was nicely decorated and had all the amenities. There was also an option online to request the change of towels and throw out the trash which I didn’t use because of my short stay, thus I don’t know how that would work but it was a nice touch. I can see how people who are not used to the sound of trains could find the presence of the train tracks nearby a problem. My room was on the 3rd floor facing the train tracks directly and I didn’t consider the sound unbearable, in fact, I barely heard it. The gentleman I had to call in the early Sunday morning to unlock the front gate for me was really nice and helpful.
